That is a historical offer—not evidence of a deal available now. Ninja’s current product page lists the standard NC301 at $199.99 when retrieved on October 7, 2026, but that price is volatile and does not confirm an Amazon discount. Check the retailer’s live listing, model, stock and offer dates before buying.
What was the Black Friday offer?
Engadget reported that Amazon had the Ninja CREAMi for $180, $50 off, on November 26, 2024. The same article described an 11-in-1 Deluxe model at $220 after a $30 discount. Both are historical prices and should not be used as current comparisons. Engadget also assigned the standard machine a review score of 90; that is the publication’s score, not a consumer survey or an independent aggregate rating. Read Engadget’s 2024 deal report.
What does the standard Ninja CREAMi make?
Ninja identifies the standard 7-in-1 as model NC301. Its seven programs are Ice Cream, Lite, Sorbet, Gelato, Milkshake, Smoothie Bowl and Mix-in. The manufacturer lists two 16-ounce pints in the box, dimensions of 12.07 inches long by 6.52 inches wide by 15.95 inches high, and a one-year limited warranty. These are Ninja’s specifications, not independent test results. See Ninja’s NC301 product page.
How the CREAMi works—and how long freezing takes
This is not an appliance that turns a liquid into ice cream immediately. You prepare a base in a pint, freeze it overnight, then process it in the machine. Ninja describes the sequence as: “Simply prep your base, freeze overnight, process, and enjoy!” Engadget’s 2024 article says freezing for 24 hours is ideal. After processing, the NC301 has a Re-spin option for a softer result, according to Ninja.

Should you choose the standard CREAMi or XL Deluxe?
Ninja’s current XL Deluxe product information lists 11 programs and 24-ounce pints, compared with the standard NC301’s seven programs and 16-ounce pints. The 2024 deal article also described dual processing for the Deluxe, but its $220 price was an offer at that time, not a current price. Compare the live listing for the exact model before weighing the extra capacity against its cost.
| Consideration | Standard CREAMi NC301 | XL Deluxe |
|---|---|---|
| Programs | 7, per Ninja’s current product page | 11, per Ninja’s current product page |
| Included pint capacity | Two 16-ounce pints, per Ninja | 24-ounce pints, per Ninja |
| Dual processing | Not stated in the cited NC301 product information | Described in Engadget’s 2024 article |
| Footprint and noise | NC301 dimensions are listed by Ninja; Engadget described the machine as comparatively compact and noisy | Not stated in the cited sources |
| Price | $199.99 displayed on Ninja’s page when retrieved October 7, 2026; volatile | Current price not stated in the cited sources; Engadget reported $220 during a 2024 promotion |
For a small household or someone who wants a limited number of servings at a time, the NC301’s smaller pints may be sufficient. The Deluxe’s larger tubs and broader program selection may suit buyers who value batch size or its additional functions. Check the available counter space too: Engadget described the standard model as about 16 inches tall, while Ninja lists its height as 15.95 inches.

- ORIGINAL CREAMi XL DELUXE: The first-generation CREAMi XL Deluxe — 11 one-touch programs including ice cream, sorbet, gelato, Italian ice, and frozen yogurt.
- XL CAPACITY: Create family-sized treats with (2) 24 oz. XL Tubs — 50% more capacity than the original CREAMi pint.
- DUAL PROCESSING: Turn one frozen base into two separate mix-in flavors in the same tub.
- TOTAL INGREDIENT CONTROL: Dial in low-sugar, protein-packed, dairy-free, and other customized treats.
- EASY TO USE: Just 3 simple steps — prepare, freeze, process, and enjoy.
Is it worth buying?
The value depends on whether you will use the prepare-freeze-process routine and want the CREAMi’s range of frozen-treat programs. Its main trade-off is time: the base has to freeze overnight before processing. Engadget also reported that the machine is noisy; that observation comes from its review, not firsthand testing here. Compare the current price with your budget and the model’s capacity and features rather than treating the 2024 discount as a benchmark.

Do not assume every CREAMi pint fits every machine. Ninja’s four-pack listing says those 16-ounce pints are compatible with NC299 and NC300-series machines, including NC301, and excludes NC500, NC100 and NC200 series.
