In the United States, Nike says most purchases can be returned or exchanged within 60 days of online delivery or a Nike store purchase. You’ll need proof of purchase, and some items are excluded. For an online order, open it in Nike order history and choose “Start a Return or Exchange.” These terms are U.S.-specific; return policies vary by country.
What is Nike’s return policy?

Items bought from another retailer must be returned to that retailer, not Nike. Nike Clearance store purchases are final, and Nike Clearance stores do not accept returns of items bought there or at other Nike stores or online.

What can be returned?
Most Nike purchases are covered by the general 60-day U.S. return window, but the following exclusions or special rules apply:

- Apple Watch accessories must be returned within 14 days of delivery.
Nike says shipping fees are not refundable unless it sent you an incorrect item. Check the exceptions page for any additional product-specific terms before beginning a return.
How do I return my Nike order?
Start a return for an online order
- Open your order in Nike order history.
- Select “Start a Return or Exchange” and follow the prompts. Nike Members may be offered eligible replacement items as an exchange.
- Choose a shipping option. Members can use a UPS return QR code at a UPS Store for free shipping; bring the boxed item there within 21 days of starting the return. Members can also print a prepaid label and drop off the package at an eligible UPS location, or arrange pickup for a fee.
- Guests print a return label, choose a carrier, and pay the shipping cost. Nike advises guests to contact it for exchange help.
- After Nike receives and inspects the return, it issues a refund or ships the exchange.

Return an item at a Nike store
Bring the item and proof of purchase to a Nike store that is not a Nike Clearance store. Nike accepts an order number, order barcode, or original store receipt as proof. Nike says returning in store is faster than shipping for receiving a refund or replacement.

Return a Nike store purchase by mail
A store purchase may appear in online order history if you scanned your Nike Member pass when you bought it. If it does not appear, Nike’s instructions emphasize returning the item in store.

Does Nike’s return period differ by country?
Yes. The 60-day window above applies to Nike’s U.S. policy and should not be assumed to apply elsewhere. Nike’s U.K. policy describes a 30-day online return period and says items must be unworn, unwashed, and still tagged for the contractual return right. Check the policy for the country where you made the purchase; the U.K. terms are on Nike’s U.K. returns page.
