Lenox has brought back its Spice Village as a second edition, but its current product listings do not confirm that the 24-piece set is available for preorder or that it is about to sell out. Lenox lists the full jar set at a $299 MSRP, with the display rack sold separately for $50. Check the live listing for availability and checkout pricing before you buy.
What is back from Lenox?
Lenox describes the release as the second edition of its Spice Village, a collection whose original version dates to 1989. The company presents the jars as pastel, hand-painted house shapes designed to bring storybook-style display to the kitchen. Lenox’s Spice Village collection page is the primary source for its current assortment and listed prices.

The set is both kitchen storage and a collectible display. The available product information supports the decorative house design, but it does not establish that spices are included. Check the individual product listing for included contents before placing an order.

Is it a preorder, and will it sell out?
The Lenox collection page and 2026 catalog list the products with add-to-bag controls, but do not establish preorder status or say that the full set is about to sell out. Treat the listing’s live availability and checkout information—not urgency in a headline—as the basis for a purchase decision.

A September 2026 WWD shopping story reported the 24-piece set at Macy’s for $223.99, compared with a stated $299.99 price, and said spices were not included. That is a dated retailer offer, not a current price guarantee. Check Macy’s directly for today’s price, stock and product contents, and compare its current offer with Lenox’s listing.

- Confirm stock and timing. Open the current product page at Lenox and read its availability and shipping information; an add-to-bag control alone does not establish preorder status.
- Review the basket total. Compare the live checkout price with Lenox’s listed MSRP, and account for the rack as a separate purchase if you want it.
- Check what is included. Confirm whether the specific listing includes jars only or other items, and whether spices are included. Do not assume they come with the set.
- Compare alternatives. If 24 jars are more than you need, look at Lenox’s themed six-piece sets or compare a retailer’s current offer with the official listing.
Why the collection is recognizable
Lenox dates the original Spice Village to 1989. Homes & Gardens also identifies 1989 as the collection’s introduction in an article published November 29, 2025. WWD’s September 2026 account adds that the original series was sold as a monthly subscription and discontinued in the mid-1990s before a late-2024 revival; those details are reported by WWD rather than established on the Lenox product page.
