NICL released the Phase I admit card for its 2024 Administrative Officer (Generalists and Specialists), Scale I recruitment on February 27, 2024. The Phase I exam was scheduled for March 4, 2024, so this is a completed recruitment cycle; the historical download link may no longer be active.

How candidates downloaded the NICL AO Phase I admit card in 2024

Scroll Staff reported that candidates could retrieve the call letter from the National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) website through its Recruitment section. These are the historical steps described in that February 27, 2024 report, not confirmation that the old link remains available.

  1. Visit nationalinsurance.nic.co.in.
  2. Open the Recruitment section and find “RECRUITMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS (GENERALISTS & SPECIALISTS).”
  3. Select the Phase I admit-card link.
  4. Enter your registration number or roll number and your password or date of birth, then submit.
  5. Download the call letter and print a copy.

The login options—registration number or roll number, together with password or date of birth—are specified in NICL’s 2024 recruitment notification. [c02] The route and steps were reported by Scroll Staff on February 27, 2024. [c01]

What candidates needed to bring to the exam

NICL’s 2024 recruitment notification said call letters were issued separately for Phase I, Phase II and the interview. Candidates were required to download the call letter for the relevant stage and bring it to the examination. The notification states: “Candidates will not be admitted to the examinations without the Call Letters.” [c02]

  • The relevant call letter, with a recent recognizable photograph affixed. NICL recommended using the photograph submitted during registration.
  • The original photo identity proof specified in the instructions.
  • A photocopy of that same identity proof.

Follow the specific instructions printed on the call letter, including the venue and reporting time. For the 2024 Phase I exam, Scroll reported centres across India and said the candidate’s call letter would provide the venue and time. [c01]
