The event’s mix of toys, pop-culture memorabilia and other collectibles drew both specialist collectors and families browsing the stalls. The organizer currently lists its next fair for 10 October 2026; that is a separate, upcoming event.
What visitors found at the April 2025 fair
PerthNow reported that attendees browsed action figures, comic books, Coca-Cola memorabilia and vintage toys. Children gathered around a stall run by Michael Mikeska, which displayed thousands of LEGO minifigures, including characters from Star Wars and Avengers films as well as animal figures. Mikeska said of the collection, “There is no way I’d even dream about counting them,” according to the report.
Vendor Bill Mason, who said he had collected Coca-Cola memorabilia for close to 40 years, brought bottles dating as far back as the 1950s. His collection extended well beyond bottles: “Coke put their name on just about everything you can think of — even beachballs,” he said. PerthNow’s report on the 12 April 2025 fair includes these examples and its attendance estimate.
A fair for more than toy collectors
The organizer describes Nexus as a quarterly event and a “giant indoor swap meet” for collectibles, toys and games. Its current listing describes 150 vendor tables and categories including action figures, science fiction, Star Wars, fantasy, comics, books, trading cards, toys, movie posters, rare and unusual collectibles, stamps, coins and banknotes, crafts, artwork and video games. Those table and category details are the organizer’s description, not independently audited figures.
