What Mr. Gatti’s announced
A July 11, 2024 report said the proposed agreement covered more than 90 Walmart locations in Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma and Kentucky. The initial phase was described as 12 locations in North Texas and southern Oklahoma, planned for the fourth quarter of 2024. The report said the agreement could expand to other states in the future; it did not say that expansion had been scheduled or completed. BRProud’s July 11, 2024 report, also carried by Yahoo Finance, is the source for those announcement details.
What the Walmart restaurants were expected to offer
The announced format was counter service with seating. The report named pizza, wings, salads and sandwiches, and said customers could order through the Mr. Gatti’s app for pickup after shopping. It also described delivery as an offering. These are details from the announcement, not confirmation that every item or service is currently available at every Walmart location.
What later reports say about openings
Reported 12 openings
A LinkedIn search-result excerpt attributed to Scott McIntosh says 12 Mr. Gatti’s Walmart locations in Texas and Oklahoma opened in less than 90 days. The excerpt is a social-media statement, not an independently audited count, and does not establish the current operating status of those restaurants. The LinkedIn result is the source for that statement.

Five-location reopening event
A Franchising.com report dated April 21, 2026 says Mr. Gatti’s celebrated the reopening of five Walmart locations across Texas and Oklahoma, with upgraded dining and games. Its available excerpt does not identify all five stores or explain how those locations relate to the earlier reported openings. It also does not confirm completion of the more-than-90-location plan. The available reports do not provide a current, complete store directory. They do not establish which specific Walmart stores have an operating Mr. Gatti’s today, whether all planned units opened, or whether food, seating, pickup and delivery are consistent from store to store. Check the current information for the specific Walmart or Mr. Gatti’s location before making a trip or placing an order; the announcement alone cannot confirm local availability.
