These figures refer to different stages of the recruitment. The 67 figure is the original advertised count in 2025. The later MPPSC selection notice references an amendment dated January 19, 2026, and its vacancy table displays a revised total of 123. The later number should not be read as the figure applicants initially saw.

What is the current exam and result status?
The later notice states that the written examination took place on December 14, 2025, from noon to 3 p.m. It lists candidates shortlisted for interview. That document establishes a shortlist stage; it does not establish that final appointments have been made. The final interview and appointment status is not confirmed by the available notice.
Who could apply, and how was eligibility defined?
The notice uses January 1, 2026 as the date for calculating age. Contemporary reporting summarized the general age range as 21–40, with category relaxations, but the applicable age limit can depend on category and domicile provisions. Use the original advertisement for the binding wording rather than relying on a summary.
Reported qualifying disciplines included food technology, food processing or engineering, dairy technology, biotechnology, oil technology, agricultural science, veterinary science, biochemistry, microbiology, chemistry and medicine.
