The Madhya Pradesh High Court’s 2024 Junior Judicial Translator application window is closed, and that recruitment cycle is complete. The official advertisement listed 45 posts and an application period ending on 30 September 2024; the High Court later reported that the final selection result was declared on 3 April 2025. The available official records do not verify a new application window closing today, 8 October 2026. Check the High Court’s Recruitment / Result page for any newer notice before acting.

What the “closes today” headline gets wrong

The relevant official notice is titled “Advertisement for recruitment to the 45 posts of Junior Judicial Translator (High Court) year-2024.” It was dated 18 September 2024. Its deadline is historical, not a current closing date. The High Court’s Exam Cell page does not establish a Judicial Translator deadline of 8 October 2026, while the records available on the official recruitment page show that the 2024 cycle proceeded through examinations and a final result.

Those records do not establish whether a separate, newer notice has been posted. Treat any claim of a current deadline as unverified unless it appears in a current official notice. The Recruitment / Result page is the place to check for an updated advertisement and application link.

2024 application and payment dates

The High Court’s 2024 advertisement gave separate periods for submitting an online application and paying the fee:

Action Dates and times in the 2024 notice
Online applications 18 September 2024 at 12:00 noon to 30 September 2024 at 11:55 p.m.
Fee payment 3 October 2024 at 12:00 noon to 5 October 2024 at 11:55 p.m.

These dates applied to that recruitment cycle only. The advertisement and its fee-payment schedule should not be used as a guide to a future cycle; a later notice may set different dates and conditions.

Post count, qualifications and age rule

Posts and qualifications

The 2024 advertisement listed 45 Junior Judicial Translator posts. Its stated qualifications were a law degree, knowledge of English and Hindi, and knowledge of computer applications. The notice’s own wording includes “Law Graduate and must possess knowledge of English & Hindi” and “Knowledge of computer Application.” Consult the full advertisement for the complete requirements and any conditions attached to them.

Age and applicable relaxations

The stated age range was 18–35 years, calculated as of 1 January 2024. The advertisement also sets out reservation and age-relaxation provisions. The age range and cutoff belong to the 2024 recruitment; they do not determine eligibility for a future vacancy. Applicants considering any new notice should use that notice’s cutoff date and read its applicable relaxation rules rather than carry forward the 2024 figures.

Examination subjects and selection progress

The advertised examination subjects included translation in both directions—Hindi to English and English to Hindi—along with vocabulary, maxims, legal terminology, proverbs, quotations and computer knowledge. These subjects describe the 2024 notice, not a confirmed syllabus for a later recruitment.

The official recruitment listing records the preliminary examination result and the application form for the main examination in February 2025, followed by eligibility and main-examination notices in March 2025. The High Court’s January–June 2025 report states: “Final result for selection of45 Junior Judicial Translators in the High court has been declared on 03.04.2025.” This confirms that selection for the 45 posts in the 2024 cycle had reached its final-result stage.

How to verify a future vacancy

  1. Open the High Court of Madhya Pradesh’s Recruitment / Result page and look for a current Junior Judicial Translator advertisement, not a result or notice from the 2024 cycle.
  2. Open the linked official notice and check its publication date, application deadline, number of posts, eligibility, age cutoff, fee period, examination stages and syllabus.
  3. Use only the application portal linked by the current official notice. Do not rely on a headline or an old application link as proof that applications are open.

A legal dictionary or legal-terminology reference may be useful for studying the subjects listed in the 2024 advertisement, but the notice does not require or endorse a particular book.
