There are no confirmed Motorola Black Friday 2026 prices yet. Motorola’s specials page is promoting seasonal offers, not a confirmed November event. Treat current offers as current sales and check their terms before buying; prices, stock and eligibility can change.

Which Razr models are worth watching for Black Friday?
Motorola’s 2026 Razr family went on sale in the US in May: preorders began May 14, with unlocked sales beginning May 21, according to Motorola’s announcement. The lineup, plus older inventory, creates several different deal possibilities.

The standard model is a plausible target for broad unlocked promotions, but that is an expectation based on the product’s position—not a confirmed Black Friday plan. Compare its live price with its own recent selling price rather than relying on a discount measured only against MSRP.
razr+ 2026 and razr ultra 2026
The razr+ launched at a US MSRP of $1,099.99 and the razr ultra at $1,499.99. A higher list price can produce a larger dollar discount without making a phone better value. These premium models may be promoted through bundles, trade-in bonuses or carrier credits instead of a deep outright price cut; that is a forecast, not a confirmed offer.
2025 and 2024 Razr models
Older models are more likely candidates for clearance and deeper percentage discounts as retailers make room for newer stock. Best Buy’s Razr listings can include multiple generations and conditions. The 2024 Razr’s reported $384.99 Black Friday 2025 price is a useful historical comparison, but it applies to that older model and event—not to every Razr or to 2026 pricing.

An older phone can be the better purchase if its lower price matters more to you than newer hardware or a longer remaining software-support period. Verify the features and support information for the exact model before choosing; the available price evidence alone does not establish how its specifications compare with a newer Razr.

How to tell whether a Razr discount is genuinely good
Use more than the crossed-out price. The best comparison is for the same model year, storage capacity and condition, bought from a seller and warranty provider you trust.
- Exceptional: A new, unlocked phone reaches or beats a comparable older generation’s previous Black Friday price, without a required trade-in or carrier commitment.
- Strong: A new, unlocked phone is at least 20–25% below its MSRP. Check its recent street price too; MSRP alone can exaggerate the apparent savings.
- Acceptable: A smaller discount on a newly launched 2026 model, particularly if you want that specific model and its price is competitive with recent offers.
- Weak: The advertised low price depends on an expensive plan, qualifying trade-in, new line and long-term bill credits that do not suit your circumstances.
- Avoid or investigate further: An open-box, refurbished or marketplace unit costs close to a new phone while offering less certainty about condition, warranty or returns.
Do not call a price the “lowest ever” without reliable history for the same model, storage and condition. A bundle is only a saving if you would have bought the included accessories anyway.

Unlocked retailer deals versus carrier promotions
When an unlocked purchase makes more sense
An unlocked phone usually costs more upfront than a subsidized carrier offer, but it avoids tying the phone discount to a particular plan or multi-year stream of credits. It can suit shoppers who may switch carriers, do not have an eligible trade-in, or want to upgrade or resell without losing future credits. Before ordering, confirm US carrier compatibility, including the bands and features you need; “unlocked” does not guarantee every carrier feature will work identically.
When a carrier offer can be worthwhile
A carrier promotion can be attractive if you already use that carrier or planned to add a line, the required plan fits your budget, and you expect to stay for the entire credit period. The reported T-Mobile Razr 2026 offer requires an eligible plan and new line; the report does not make it a universally free unlocked phone. Confirm the current offer directly with the carrier before signing up.
Calculate the total commitment, not just the advertised device price. Include any change in monthly plan cost, taxes on the full device price, activation or upgrade fees, and the remaining device balance or credits you could forfeit if you leave early. Check whether the promotion applies to the base razr only or another model, and whether your trade-in qualifies.

Where to check stock and terms
- Motorola: The specials page and US homepage are starting points for direct promotions. Compare the phone-only price with any bundle, and read trade-in and financing terms.
- Best Buy: Its Razr category and sale and clearance search can surface unlocked, clearance and open-box stock. Check the condition, seller, warranty and availability for the exact listing. A “Black Friday in July” label is not evidence of November pricing.
- Amazon: Its 2025 Black Friday Week ran November 20 through December 1, according to Amazon’s announcement. That shows the event can span more than Black Friday itself; it does not establish 2026 dates or prices. Confirm seller identity, condition, warranty, model and any coupon or membership requirement.
Should you buy now or wait until November 27?
Choose based on the offer in front of you and how soon you need a phone. Black Friday is not a guarantee that every model will reach its best price, and limited clearance stock can disappear before November.
- Buy now if a new unlocked 2026 model is substantially below its recent price, the offer fits your budget, and the return period gives you enough time to reassess. An unusually strong trade-in promotion can also make sense if its terms work for you.
- Wait if the current discount is modest, you are considering an older generation with declining stock, and you can comfortably wait for more offers. Do not assume a November deal will be better.
- Choose an older model if the savings are large enough to justify older hardware and a potentially shorter remaining support period, and the phone still meets your needs.
- Take a carrier offer only if you meet the plan and line requirements and are comfortable staying for the full bill-credit term.
- Buy when you need the phone if waiting creates a practical problem. A pre-November clearance offer can be better for you than a possible future sale.
Check the seller’s return deadline and price-adjustment policy before purchasing; policies vary and can change. Amazon’s 2025 event dates are historical and should not be treated as a schedule for 2026.
Use this checklist before checkout
- Match the exact phone: Record the model year, model name and storage capacity. Do not compare a razr with a razr+ or ultra as though they were the same product.
- Confirm condition and seller: Identify whether the phone is new, open-box, refurbished or renewed, and who sells and fulfills it.
- Check unlocked status and compatibility: Confirm that the US variant works with your carrier and supports the network features you rely on.
- Compare the real price: Note MSRP, current price and any recent or historical price for the same configuration. Separate instant discounts from trade-in value and bill credits.
- Add every obligation: Include the plan cost, trade-in requirements, new-line or activation fees, taxes and the consequences of ending financing early.
- Check protection and returns: Read the warranty provider, return deadline and price-adjustment terms. Consider any protection plan only after comparing its cost, deductible and coverage with the discounted phone’s value.
- Save the deal details: Keep a record of the price, seller, condition, required plan or trade-in, credit duration and return deadline so you can compare a later offer accurately.
Motorola’s own promotions can change, and retailers may mix generations and conditions in search results. Treat each listing as a separate offer and verify its terms at checkout.
