How the $30 price was calculated
The $30 figure came from two parts of the Black Friday offer, not from Mint’s ordinary monthly rate:

Android Central reported the code and calculation on November 21, 2025. The report described the code as working with the Black Friday price during that promotional period; it did not establish 15NOW as a permanent standalone plan price.

What the historical Unlimited plan included
Contemporaneous coverage described the plan as including unlimited talk, text and data on T-Mobile’s network, up to 20GB of mobile-hotspot data, and international calling benefits involving Mexico, Canada and the United Kingdom. Exact benefits depend on the plan terms in effect at the time.
“Unlimited” did not guarantee unrestricted high-speed data in every circumstance. Mint’s plan disclosure says customers using more than 50GB in a monthly cycle may experience reduced speeds for the remainder of that cycle in congested locations. Mint’s Holiday Promotion 2025 terms described the offer as a new-customer promotion for the initial plan term. Existing Mint subscribers should not have assumed they qualified for the same rate.

- Payment was made upfront for the selected three-month term.
- Taxes and fees were extra.
- The discount was not transferable, and Mint reserved the ability to change or withdraw promotions.
- Mint could review transactions for suspected fraud and adjust or terminate service under its terms.
After the first three months, customers could renew using whatever three-, six- or 12-month prices Mint offered then. The $10-per-month equivalent was not a permanent renewal rate.
When the deal ended
Android Central published its report on November 21, 2025. Mint’s official Holiday Promotion 2025 terms set February 4, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific time as the end of the $15-per-month three-month Unlimited promotion.
As of August 18, 2026, that promotion is expired. The available terms do not establish a separate current expiration date for 15NOW; because the promotion it was tied to has ended, shoppers should not expect the code to work.

Did the plan require a contract?
Mint’s current broadband disclosure lists no contract and no early-termination fee. Because the historical offer was prepaid, those disclosures do not by themselves establish that an early departure would receive a prorated refund.
