The clearest disclosed figure is a reported $600,000 purse for his April 2024 BKFC fight with Thiago Alves; separately, Perry said a multi-fight BKFC contract had about $8 million “on contract.” Those are different kinds of figures, and neither establishes his total take-home pay.
What are Mike Perry’s reported fight earnings?
The available public figures answer different questions: one is an event purse reported from a state athletic commission salary report, while the other is Perry’s description of a multi-fight contract. Neither is a complete accounting of money received.
| Figure | What it refers to | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| $600,000 | MMA Fighting reported, citing the California State Athletic Commission’s salary report, that Perry’s disclosed purse for the April 27, 2024 BKFC KnuckleMania 4 main event against Thiago Alves was $600,000. The same report listed Alves at $200,000. MMA Fighting’s report | It is not a complete measure of Perry’s income from the event or his career. |
| About $8 million | Perry said in a 2023 interview, discussing a new multi-fight BKFC deal: “I have to say they put about $8 million on contract.” MMA Fighting’s interview coverage | The public account does not specify the bout count, payment schedule, guaranteed amount, conditions, or how much had been paid by the interview date. |
How much does Mike Perry make per fight?
The $600,000 KnuckleMania 4 figure is a disclosed purse for one event, not a standard rate for every Perry fight. MMA Fighting reported it from the California State Athletic Commission salary report. The report cautioned that the salary figures did not include or establish total earnings: sponsorship income, discretionary bonuses, and other income were not public. Read the report and its qualification.
A contract covering multiple fights is not directly comparable to one event’s disclosed purse. Without its full terms and a record of payments, the roughly $8 million figure cannot be divided into a reliable per-fight amount.

How much did Mike Perry make in the UFC?
The sources available here do not establish Perry’s total UFC compensation or provide a complete bout-by-bout accounting of his UFC pay. MMA Fighting reported in November 2021 that Perry was moving to BKFC after five years in the UFC; Dana White later explained that Perry’s UFC contract had expired, allowing him to consider offers from elsewhere. Perry described the choice as a business decision, saying: “These businesses compete for that Mike Perry money.” MMA Fighting’s report on Perry’s move to BKFC.
Without verified UFC pay totals and a consistent definition of earnings, a numerical UFC-versus-BKFC career comparison would be speculative.

How much is Mike Perry’s BKFC contract?
Perry’s own reported description is that the new multi-fight deal had about $8 million “on contract.” That is a statement about the contract’s face value, not a public accounting of money paid. The interview coverage does not establish the contract’s bout count, payment schedule, guaranteed portion, conditions, or how much Perry had earned under it at the time. MMA Fighting’s 2023 coverage.
Did Mike Perry make more in BKFC than in the UFC?
The public information does not settle that question. The BKFC figures include one reported event purse and Perry’s stated contract value; the available reporting does not establish total UFC pay or all other compensation in either promotion. Comparing them as if they were matching totals would conflate an event purse with a multi-fight contract and omit private terms and undisclosed income.
