MEXC says its 2025 zero-fee program saved users 1.1 billion USDT in trading fees. The exchange also reports high trading-volume shares for selected pairs—but those pair-level figures are not MEXC’s overall cryptocurrency-exchange market share, and the published materials do not provide an independent audit or a reproducible calculation method.
What MEXC reported for 2025
In materials published on January 28, 2026, MEXC said its zero-fee program covered 3,026 spot trading pairs and 203 futures pairs during 2025. It reported that 3.44 million users saved a total of 1.1 billion USDT in fees, or an average of 320 USDT per user. MEXC also cited 9 million USDT as the largest reported saving by one user. These are the exchange’s figures, not independently verified results. MEXC’s January 28, 2026 release summarizes the headline savings claims.
MEXC said zero-fee coverage extended to all spot trading pairs on December 22, 2025. That is a dated statement about the policy described in its 2025 report; it does not establish what fees apply now. Fees can depend on current terms and the product being used, so check MEXC’s current fee information before trading.
What the reported “market share” figures measure
The report highlights trading metrics for particular pairs. They are not an overall share of the cryptocurrency-exchange market. The available account does not define the full market universe or denominator used for each share, so the figures should be read as MEXC-reported pair-specific claims.

Selected futures figures
- BTCUSDT and ETHUSDT together accounted for 70% of the volume among MEXC’s top ten zero-fee futures pairs, according to the report. SOLUSDT ranked third and SUIUSDT fourth in that list.
- MEXC reported growth of 11,074% for BNBUSDC futures volume and 83-fold growth for SUIUSDC, and said nine of its ten fastest-growing futures pairs were USDC-denominated.
- For pair-level futures market share, the report cited a peak of 72% for PUMPUSDT and 59% for LINKUSDT.

What the figures do—and do not—show
A reported fee-saving total can help describe the scale MEXC attributes to its program, but it is not enough on its own to determine the savings a particular trader received or would receive. The published materials cited here do not explain how MEXC calculated the 1.1 billion USDT estimate, provide an auditable underlying dataset, or show an independent audit. They also do not define the market universe behind each pair-level share.
For a personal decision, distinguish a zero trading fee from the total cost and terms of a transaction. Confirm the current fee schedule and applicable product terms directly with the exchange; historical claims about a 2025 program do not verify current conditions. If comparing exchanges, use figures for the same dates and product type, and check which fees, rebates, pairs, and market denominator each comparison includes.

How to read the report as a trader
- Treat the savings total as a company-reported estimate. It is not a guarantee of future savings or a prediction of an individual user’s fees.
- Keep pair statistics in scope. A high reported share for one trading pair does not establish broad exchange leadership.
- Check current terms before placing an order. The report describes 2025 and gives a dated expansion milestone, not confirmation of today’s fee policy.
- Look for comparable evidence. To compare platforms, match dates, spot or futures product, fee components, pair coverage, denominator, and treatment of rebates.
