Gold bars are listed among possible event prizes, not as a reward every ambassador is certain to receive.
What MEXC announced
MEXC’s October 30, 2025 announcement introduced three ambassador levels, progression based on referrals and referee futures trading volume, referral commissions, and tier-specific privileges. It said Elite and Champion ambassadors could access limited-time events, while Champion ambassadors could earn chances to join a spin for guaranteed prizes that included gold bars. Ambassador tiers and qualification thresholds
The launch announcement and MEXC’s later complete guide agree on the three tiers and on Rising and Elite thresholds. They phrase the Champion boundary differently, however. The launch page says more than five referrals and more than 10,000 USDT in referee futures volume; the September 21, 2026 guide says at least five referrals and at least 10,000 USDT. Because those wordings differ at exactly five referrals or 10,000 USDT, check the terms shown for your account rather than assuming the boundary. MEXC’s complete program guide

The launch announcement says levels are reviewed in two-month cycles, with performance in the current cycle informing the next. MEXC’s later guide also describes a two-month evaluation cycle. The applicable thresholds and privileges should be confirmed in the current program terms for your account.

What “up to 40% commission” means
The launch headline advertised commissions of up to 40%. In its September 21, 2026 referral guide, MEXC described up to 40% base commission across Spot, Futures, DEX+ and Prediction Markets. That guide also says the displayed rates vary by country and region, so the headline rate should not be treated as a rate every participant receives or as an estimate of likely earnings. The same guide states that referral commission remains valid for 1,080 days and that payouts occur the day after a referred friend trades. These are details of MEXC’s referral program guide, not a guarantee of a particular payout amount: commissions depend on eligible referred activity and the rate applicable to the user.

Gold bars and other event prizes are conditional
The gold-bar claim is about a possible prize in a Champion referral spin, not a guaranteed individual award. A separate MEXC-issued release published through GlobeNewswire on January 9, 2026 described an Elite Referral Rally with prizes of up to $2,500 each and repeated the Champion spin’s possible gold-bar prize. Those are claims about an event described at that date; the release does not establish that either promotion is still open. Check the event rules and dates before counting on an entry or prize. What the announcement does not establish
The official materials cited here describe MEXC’s user-facing referral and ambassador program. They do not establish separate affiliate terms for editorial publishers, including publisher eligibility, compensation, or geography. A publisher should not infer a commercial partnership or project referral income from the ambassador headline alone.
