The dated material behind this article is from 2025 or earlier: a Binance listing announcement from February 9, 2025, and a Cheems white paper from July 10, 2025. Read what follows as a verification guide, not as a report on current market status.
Why this is not a five-coin ranking
A fair comparison of meme coins needs the same information for each asset: the network and exact contract address, dated official disclosures, the stated purpose, exchange access and geographic limits, and any explicit risk labels. The headline names two coins and one campaign. It does not name the other three coins, and the material available does not identify them, so any list would have to be invented. Price performance is excluded for the same reason: comparing returns requires a shared observation date and reliable market data, and neither is established here.
Osaka Protocol: what its official materials say
What the project publishes
The Osaka Protocol website presents OSAK as a token for a decentralization-focused project. It publishes an Ethereum contract address and lists other chain options and integrations. The site also makes claims about the token and its launch. Those are the project’s own statements. They have not been independently verified, so treat them as claims.

The site uses the slogan “There Is No Dev.” That is the project’s wording. It is not an independently established fact about who controls the token or how it is governed. A slogan does not replace documented, checkable governance.
Contract documentation and bridging
The project’s contract documentation lists token addresses for several chains and describes bridging with LayerZero’s OFT (omnichain fungible token) framework. The page states that it was last updated two years ago. An address that was current when it was published may no longer reflect the project’s live deployments, so the documentation is a starting point for verification, not proof that an address is current.

Cheems: what is documented
The fixed supply figure
A Cheems white paper published July 10, 2025 states: “CHEEMS is a fungible digital token with a fixed total supply of 219 776 051 832 671.” With standard separators, that is 219,776,051,832,671 tokens. The figure describes the total number of tokens the document specifies. It is not a price forecast, and it does not show that scarcity will create demand. A capped supply says nothing about liquidity, how concentrated holdings are, or whether a buyer can sell at a fair price.
The Binance listing
On February 9, 2025, Binance announced that it would list 1000CHEEMS spot pairs and published the BNB Smart Chain contract address for the token. The listing carried a Seed Tag. Binance described Seed Tag assets as potentially more volatile and said that users needed recurring quizzes to gain trading access.

That announcement is a dated record of a listing. It does not establish that the pairs are tradable today or in your jurisdiction. Exchange rules and regional restrictions change, so check the exchange’s current announcements and product pages before assuming access.

Whitelist offers spread quickly through social posts, and a link that looks official is easy to imitate. Until a campaign is confirmed through channels you can independently check, avoid doing the following:
- Clicking signup links shared in posts, direct messages or comment threads.
- Connecting a crypto wallet to a site you reached from an advertisement or an unsolicited reply.
- Sending funds or granting a token spending permission in order to claim an allocation.
If a campaign does surface, an official announcement should answer five questions: which project runs it, the start and end dates, the eligibility rules, whether any payment or wallet connection is required, and where the full terms are published. If those answers cannot be confirmed independently, treat the campaign as unverified.

Verifying an address before you interact
- Start from the project’s official website. Do not start from a search result, an advertisement or a chat link.
- Copy the contract address for the exact chain you plan to use. An address on one network is not valid on another.
- Paste the address into a block explorer for that same chain. Confirm the token name and symbol, and that the contract matches what the project published.
- Cross-check the address against a dated exchange announcement or another independent source. For Cheems, the February 9, 2025 Binance announcement gives the BNB Smart Chain address.
- If you plan to bridge, confirm in the documentation which address belongs to which chain. Treat an outdated documentation page as a lead to verify, not as confirmation.
What this means for your money
Meme coins are speculative, and prices can fall sharply. None of the documents above changes that. The following habits matter more than any name in a headline:
- Set the amount before you buy, and limit it to money you could lose entirely without affecting rent, debt payments or emergency savings.
- Read a volatility label such as Binance’s Seed Tag as a reason to hold a smaller position, not a larger one.
- Account for fees, spreads and slippage, which can reduce what you receive on both purchase and sale, especially in thinly traded markets.
- Keep records of each transaction and each token address you use, so you can reconcile your activity later.
What remains unknown
