The current indexed terms, Version 2.9, were updated October 5, 2026, and identify LuminaryPlay Operations Limited as the company contracting with users. They characterize the service as entertainment and virtual coins as licensed tokens for use on the platform. Who can use MegaBonanza, and where?
MegaBonanza’s Help Center says users must be at least 21 and lists excluded states. Its separate availability article says the service can be accessed in 32 states and Washington, D.C. However, the newer Version 2.9 terms also identify Oklahoma as a prohibited territory, while the Help Center’s excluded-state list does not. Check the current terms and the location check during registration for your own state before creating an account. The stated minimum age is 21; do not assume the service is available to you merely because a general availability page includes your state.
What did the Illinois Gaming Board say?
The Illinois Gaming Board sent Mega Bonanza a cease-and-desist letter dated February 4, 2026. In the letter, the Board said it had reason to believe Mega Bonanza was operating an illegal online casino in Illinois. It said it observed the service on January 14, 2026 offering Illinois users games with chances to win cash, gift cards and other prizes, and stated that the Board had neither licensed nor authorized Mega Bonanza for online gambling activity in Illinois. When do virtual coins expire?
Version 2.9 defines inactivity for coin expiration as no gameplay using virtual coins for 60 consecutive days. A separate MegaBonanza help article says free Gold Coins expire after 60 days without account activity. MegaBonanza’s own materials support calling it a social casino with a changing selection of casino-style games. They do not establish that virtual coins have cash value: the terms say the opposite. Before joining, verify local eligibility against the current terms and registration check, and understand the coin-expiry and arbitration provisions.
