Théo Sastre-Garau, often known as Théo Sastre, is identified as a co-founder of NFT Evening, an NFT-focused publication covering digital art, music, gaming and collectibles. In a 2022 interview, he said the idea grew from his own difficulty finding beginner-friendly, trustworthy information when he was learning about NFTs. NFT Evening’s January 2025 media kit reported more than 100,000 monthly unique visitors and 30,000 newsletter subscribers; those are dated figures supplied by the publisher, not independently audited current metrics.

Who is Théo Sastre?

Sastre-Garau is a web entrepreneur whose work includes digital publishing. A journalist profile at Muck Rack identifies him as a co-founder of NFT Evening and lists bylines in outlets including Cointelegraph and Rolling Stone. His personal profile describes him as a web entrepreneur in publishing and presents NFT Evening as a site for readers interested in non-fungible tokens, or NFTs.

In a September 2022 interview with TechBullion, Sastre described his background this way: “I’m a french entrepreneur who started his career in digital marketing in London.” The interview is the source for this personal account; it should be read as his recollection rather than independently verified company history.

Why did he start NFT Evening?

Sastre said he began his career in digital marketing in London and built media companies alongside his day job before moving into that work full time with a business partner. He recalled becoming interested in NFTs through generative art and Sorare, a fantasy-sports platform associated with digital collectibles. As he explored the space, he found it difficult to locate information that was both accessible to newcomers and trustworthy.

That gap, in his telling, helped motivate the launch of an online magazine. The idea was to make NFT information more approachable for investors, artists and enthusiasts—not simply to cover one collectible format or one corner of the market. His explanation appears in a September 2022 interview, so it describes the origin as he recounted it at that time.

What does NFT Evening cover?

Sastre’s personal profile characterizes NFT Evening as an NFT-focused website covering digital art, music, gaming and collectibles. Its stated aim is to provide accessible information for investors, artists and people interested in NFTs. The publication’s January 2025 media kit additionally describes it as an independent NFT media outlet and lists an NFT event calendar, exclusive interviews and rewards. These are descriptions from the publisher, not an independent assessment of its coverage or editorial standards.

What audience figures has NFT Evening reported?

In its January 2025 media kit, NFT Evening reported the following audience figures. They are publisher-reported snapshots, not independently audited measurements, and should not be treated as current without newer data.

Metric Figure reported by NFT Evening Qualification
Monthly unique visitors 100,000+ Reported in the January 2025 media kit; publisher-reported.
Social followers 47,000+ Combined across Twitter, Telegram and Instagram, as reported in January 2025.
Newsletter subscribers 30,000+ Reported in the January 2025 media kit.
Newsletter open rate 38% The same media kit says the newsletter is sent to 30,000 subscribers; the rate is publisher-reported.

The media kit also lists commercial formats including sponsored articles, newsletter sponsorships, social posts, press releases and banner advertising. That information describes offerings in the January 2025 kit; it does not establish which placements are available now.

What collaborations has Sastre discussed?

Ledger and NFT security content

In the 2022 interview, Sastre said NFT Evening had partnered with Ledger to co-create educational content about NFT storage and protection from theft and scams. This is evidence of a historical editorial collaboration, not a current affiliate relationship or a personal endorsement by Sastre of a particular wallet. The interview does not identify a specific Ledger model or establish present-day product details.

Le Wagon Web3 events

Sastre also publicly described a past NFT Evening collaboration with Le Wagon involving Web3 events and workshops on creating and selling NFTs and learning smart-contract development. The available post describes that earlier activity but does not establish whether the program continues.

What the founder story does—and does not—show

Sastre’s account explains the problem he says NFT Evening was created to address: newcomers needed a more accessible way to learn about a fast-moving NFT landscape. It also connects the publication’s subject matter to his own route into the space, from digital marketing and media work to generative art and Sorare. The account is useful context for understanding the publication’s stated purpose, but it does not by itself verify the quality, neutrality or current reach of its coverage.
