Who owns the Philadelphia Eagles?
Jeffrey Lurie owns the Eagles and serves as the team’s Chairman and CEO. The team’s official biography dates his purchase of the franchise to May 6, 1994. Forbes lists the purchase price at $185 million.
What are the Eagles worth?
Forbes estimated the Eagles’ enterprise value at $10.25 billion in September 2026. Forbes defines enterprise value as equity plus net debt and says its estimate is based on the team’s current stadium deal. It is a valuation of the franchise, not a measure of Lurie’s personal wealth.
A separate figure comes from a reported transaction: in December 2024, the Eagles sold an 8% stake to two family investment groups in a deal reportedly valuing the team at $8.3 billion. That transaction valuation and Forbes’ later $10.25 billion estimate refer to different dates and measurements, so they should not be treated as interchangeable.

How much is Jeffrey Lurie worth?
A current personal net-worth estimate is not established by these figures. Forbes described Lurie as having a $1 billion net worth in 2016 and said he made most of his fortune in movie production. That is a historical estimate, not a current figure. The value of the Eagles cannot be substituted for Lurie’s net worth: a team valuation is not a calculation of an owner’s total assets, debts or share of the franchise.
Forbes’ 2016 profile is the available source for that dated personal-wealth estimate. The Eagles’ valuation page reports franchise values and transaction information, not a current personal net-worth calculation.

Lurie’s record and Eagles Hall of Fame recognition
The Eagles’ biography credits Lurie’s ownership with 315 wins and a .569 winning percentage, which the team describes as fourth-best in the post-merger era. It says the team’s ascent began in the first full season of his ownership, in 1995.
The team announced that Lurie would be inducted into the Eagles Hall of Fame on October 26, 2026. That stewardship theme also appears in an Eagles feature in which Lurie said: “Because you have a great team, as an owner, I never thought more highly of myself, that I’m smarter or any of that stuff.” The remark is published in the team’s feature on Lurie’s vision.
