McDonald’s Big Arch arrived at participating U.S. restaurants on March 3, 2026, as a limited-time burger. The company did not give an end date, and the burger is not on the current national U.S. burgers listing checked September 27, 2026. That means you should check your local McDonald’s or its app before making a trip; nationwide availability today is not established.
What is the Big Arch, and what makes it so big?
McDonald’s describes the Big Arch as a substantial burger built around two quarter-pound beef patties. The company’s U.S. launch notice says each patty weighs four ounces before cooking, so that figure is not the finished cooked weight of the meat or the total weight of the sandwich.

McDonald’s describes its sauce as tangy and creamy, with mustard, pickle, and sweet tomato flavors. McDonald’s U.S. launch announcement does not give a total sandwich weight.
Is the Big Arch still available in the U.S.?
The U.S. launch began March 3, 2026, at participating restaurants and was described as limited-time. McDonald’s did not specify when the offer would end. The Big Arch is absent from the national U.S. burger menu listing checked September 27, 2026, but that alone does not establish whether individual restaurants have it or remaining stock.

Check the menu in the McDonald’s app or contact your local restaurant for current participation and availability. A January 12, 2026 article framed a U.S. debut as a possibility based on a reported internal document; it predates the company’s official launch announcement and is no longer a useful guide to whether the burger launched. That earlier account should not be mistaken for current availability information.
How much does the Big Arch cost?
The U.S. launch announcement does not state a U.S. price. Prices can depend on location, and the reviewed official information does not establish what a U.S. restaurant charged or charges for this burger.

For comparison only, McDonald’s UK listed the burger alone at £8.79 in its January 2026 menu announcement and said restaurant prices may vary. That is a UK price, not a U.S. price. In the UK and Ireland, the company said the Big Arch became a permanent menu item on January 5, 2026. McDonald’s UK announcement describes that market’s version, which should not be assumed to be identical in every detail to the U.S. build.
How many calories are in the Big Arch?
The reviewed U.S. launch notice does not publish a Big Arch-specific calorie count or nutrition panel. McDonald’s U.S. menu explains that nutrition values are based on standard formulations and average ingredient values, and may vary with portions, preparation, testing, supply, and regional or seasonal differences. Do not rely on calorie estimates from an earlier secondary article as an official U.S. figure.
