When did the AFL Happy Meals start and end?
McDonald’s Australia announced the promotion on 26 February 2025, with a nationwide launch on 27 February. It was described as a five-week promotion and ended on Tuesday, 1 April 2025. McDonald’s said the collection represented all 18 clubs. Its list was:

The “first-ever” description referred to McDonald’s Australia’s AFL Happy Meal campaign, not to football-themed children’s meals generally.

What came in the 2025 AFL Happy Meal?
The campaign collectibles included limited-edition AFL team bag clips, skills cards and stickers. McDonald’s also said two AFL/AFLW plush mini Sherrin footballs were available to collect. The historical campaign menu paired one of four main choices with apple slices and a small drink, served in an AFL Happy Meal box:

- Cheeseburger
- Chicken McNuggets
- Grilled Chicken Snack Wrap
These were the choices announced for the 2025 promotion, not a statement of McDonald’s current menu.
