Mangalam Cement’s special window for transfer and dematerialization of eligible physical shares is open through 4 February 2027, according to its notice dated 19 February 2026. It covers qualifying securities bought or sold before 1 April 2019. The company’s eligibility matrix requires the original share certificate: it accepts qualifying fresh lodgements and previously rejected or returned requests when that certificate is available, and marks cases without it ineligible.
What the special window covers
This is a company-specific window for transferring and dematerializing qualifying Mangalam Cement physical shares. The transaction’s transfer deed must have been executed before 1 April 2019. The company’s notice cites a SEBI circular dated 30 January 2026 and states that requests may be submitted through 4 February 2027. Mangalam Cement’s notice was dated 19 February 2026.

The notice’s eligibility matrix distinguishes between fresh lodgements and transfer requests previously rejected or returned. In either category, the company marks a request eligible only when the original certificate is available. A missing original certificate makes the listed case ineligible under the matrix; the notice does not say that a duplicate certificate or another substitute will qualify.

| Fresh lodgement | Executed before 1 April 2019 | Not available | Ineligible |
| Previously rejected or returned | Executed before 1 April 2019 | Not available | Ineligible |
These outcomes reflect the company’s published matrix; they are not a guarantee that a particular submission will be accepted. The notice says requests will be considered only when accompanied by the original certificate(s), transfer deed(s), and relevant supporting documents.

How to prepare and submit a request
- Confirm the transaction qualifies. Check that the transfer deed was executed before 1 April 2019 and establish whether your request is a fresh lodgement or a previously rejected or returned request.
- Locate the original certificate. The company’s matrix requires it for both eligible request types. If you do not have it, contact the registrar before sending anything; the published matrix lists cases without the original as ineligible.
- Ask the RTA for the current document checklist. The notice requires the original certificate(s), transfer deed(s), and relevant supporting documents but does not enumerate every supporting document. Confirm the exact requirements with MAS Services Ltd. before dispatching original papers.
- Send or otherwise lodge the documents as directed by the RTA. The notice names MAS Services Ltd. as the contact for the window. Verify its current address and contact details before mailing original documents.
- Allow for demat credit and the lock-in if the transfer is registered. The notice says successfully transferred securities will be credited to the transferee only in demat mode, with a one-year lock-in beginning on the date of registration.
Where to confirm requirements
Mangalam Cement’s notice identifies its registrar and transfer agent (RTA) as MAS Services Ltd. It lists the following contact details:
- Address: T-34, Second Floor, Okhla Industrial Area, Phase II, New Delhi 110020
- Phone: 011-26387281-82-83
- Email: [email protected]
The company’s Listing Information page also identifies MAS Services as its registrar and transfer agent. Confirm contact details and the document checklist with the RTA before sending originals.

What happens after a successful transfer
The company notice states that transferred securities must be credited to the transferee only in demat mode. They are locked in for one year from registration of transfer. During that period, the shares cannot be transferred, lien-marked, or pledged. Plan for that restriction before proceeding; demat credit does not mean the shares can be freely dealt with immediately.
Do not confuse this with the expired 2025 re-lodgement window
SEBI’s earlier special window had a narrower purpose: re-lodgement of transfer deeds that had already been lodged before 1 April 2019 but were rejected, returned, or left unattended because of document or process deficiencies. It ran for six months, from 7 July 2025 through 6 January 2026, and has ended. SEBI’s 2 July 2025 circular concerns that earlier period.
