The $8 million figure attached to 10–11 Amity Cove was its advertised asking price in February 2024—not its eventual sale price. The Halls Head waterfront home was recorded as sold in February 2026, although property portals report conflicting sale figures.
Where was the home, and why did it make headlines?
10–11 Amity Cove is in Port Mandurah Stage One, Halls Head. In a report published on 6 February 2024, PerthNow described it as Mandurah’s most expensive home then on the market, with an asking price of $8 million. That was a claim about the listing at that time, not a current market ranking or the eventual sale price. PerthNow’s 2024 report provides the listing context; REIWA’s property record identifies the address and later transaction.
What features were reported in the 2024 listing?
PerthNow reported that the home had five bedrooms, five bathrooms and a four-car garage. Its leisure and wellness features included a heated indoor pool reported as 12 metres long, a meditation room, a gym and a lift. The article also described landscaped gardens and water or garden views from each room. These are details reported in connection with the listing, not independently inspected or verified here.
The home was described as waterfront. Listing agent Renee Hardman said in the 6 February 2024 report, “There’s not many places you can get half an acre of land absolute waterfront.” The land-size and waterfront characterisation are presented as the agent’s statement. Hardman also said, “A similar property in Perth would be double the price”; that is her opinion, not an established like-for-like valuation.

Was the home still for sale?
No. REIWA records the property as sold on 7 February 2026, so the 2024 “up for grabs” framing is no longer current. The $8 million amount was the asking price reported by PerthNow in 2024; it should not be mistaken for the transaction price.
What was the sale price?
The available property portals do not agree on the final figure. REIWA reports $5.5 million, while OnTheHouse reports $5 million; Domain withholds the price. The sale amounts are portal-reported figures for the February 2026 transaction, and the discrepancy means the exact price is unresolved here.

That is the 2024 article’s account of a prior sale, not an independently verified market comparison. The sources cited here do not establish a set of comparable transactions sufficient to assess whether the asking price or later portal figures represented market value.
