MAH CET 2025 application windows are closed. The State Common Entrance Test Cell’s 2025 notices covered different exams and courses on separate schedules, so there was no single deadline for every test. If you are applying for a later cycle, check the official CET Cell site and the notice for your exact exam or admission process; do not rely on a 2025 “apply now” message.
What “MAH CET 2025 registration” covered
“MAH CET” is often used as shorthand for Maharashtra’s Common Entrance Tests, but it does not describe one universal application. The State CET Cell conducts exams for professional-course admissions in areas such as engineering, management, pharmacy, agriculture, law, medical, AYUSH and fine arts. Each exam and course admission process can have its own notice and dates. See the State CET Cell website and its dated notices for the applicable process.
The MHT-CET 2025 examination notice, dated 30 December 2024, covered admission to engineering and technology, pharmacy, B.Planning, integrated M.Planning and agricultural education for academic year 2025-26. The notice said its schedule and information brochure were available on the official website, www.mahacet.org. Its application dates were for that examination—not for every CET or later centralized admission process.
MHT-CET 2025 exam application dates
According to the State CET Cell’s 30 December 2024 notice, the initial online registration and confirmation window ran from 30 December 2024 through 15 February 2025. A late-fee registration period followed from 16 through 22 February 2025, with online payment available through 23 February 2025. These dates are historical and applied to MHT-CET 2025.

Other CET exams had separate schedules
A second-extension notice dated 31 January 2025 listed separate registration schedules for other technical CETs. MBA/MMS and MCA CET registration had started on 25 December 2024; B.HMCT, M.HMCT Integrated, B.Design and M.HMCT CET schedules began on dates in late December or early January. The notice extended registration for the listed exams through 10 February 2025. These dates should not be applied to MHT-CET or to a different exam without checking its notice.
Exam registration and CAP admission registration are different
Applying to take an entrance exam is not the same as registering after results for the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). CAP is a later admission stage with its own registration, document-upload, scrutiny and confirmation requirements. A deadline for an exam form does not establish a CAP deadline, and a CAP deadline does not reopen an exam application.
Example: postgraduate engineering and technology CAP
The State CET Cell’s postgraduate engineering and technology admission page set CAP online registration and document upload to begin on 1 July 2025, with an initial deadline of 16 July 2025 at 5 p.m. It described application scrutiny and confirmation separately, including e-scrutiny and physical scrutiny. The page warned that applications registered after the listed window would be considered only for Non-CAP seats. This schedule was for that named admission process, not a general MAH CET deadline. Example: pharmacy and Pharm.D CAP
The official pharmacy portal concerned first-year B.Pharmacy and postgraduate Pharm.D admissions for academic year 2025-26. Its published schedule showed a 7 July 2025 start and an extended closing date of 2 September 2025 at 5 p.m. Because the portal page may not retain the schedule in an accessible form, consult the course’s official notice for the precise dates and instructions rather than treating this as a current or universal deadline.
How to find the right notice for a current cycle
- Go to the Maharashtra State CET Cell website.
- Identify the exact examination or course admission process—for example, MHT-CET, MBA/MMS CET, MCA CET, B.E./B.Tech CAP or pharmacy CAP.
- Open the notice for the relevant academic year and read the full schedule, including any extension or revised notice. Match dates to the named stage: exam application, CAP registration, document scrutiny or confirmation.
- Follow that notice’s requirements for eligibility, documents, payment and application confirmation. In CAP, check whether the process is e-scrutiny or physical scrutiny and what happens if you miss the stated window.
The CET Cell’s listings include separate dated notices for exams and admissions, including engineering, MBA/MMS, MCA, pharmacy, law and other programs. A headline saying “various courses” cannot establish which deadline applies to an individual applicant. Use the official notice for the exact exam or admission process and year.
