Lucky Mobile’s reported $39-per-month plan with 70GB was a limited Black Friday 2025 offer, not a deal established as available now. A November 21, 2025 report said it was available until December 1, 2025; a follow-up published December 7 said the Black Friday offers had ended. Lucky Mobile’s current plans should be checked directly rather than relying on that expired headline.
What the $39/70GB offer reportedly included
iPhone in Canada reported on November 21, 2025, that Lucky Mobile’s $39 monthly plan offered 70GB made up of three components:
- 40GB of base data
- 10GB of Black Friday promotional data
- 20GB tied to Auto-Top-Up
The report gave December 1, 2025, as the offer’s end date. These are terms reported at the time by a secondary source; an archived official Lucky Mobile offer page was not located to independently confirm them.
The same report described the plan’s talk, text and data as limited to Canada. Do not confuse it with a separate Best Buy Canada email promotion advertising $39 for 70GB with Canada, U.S. and Mexico coverage: that promotion does not establish those terms for Lucky Mobile. The Lucky Mobile report and the separate Best Buy Canada email archive concern distinct offers.

When the promotion ended—and what that means now
The reported December 1 deadline makes the plan a historical promotion. A December 7, 2025 comparison said Black Friday offers had passed and listed a Lucky Mobile $39/70GB plan with a 10GB bonus. That later listing does not establish that the earlier 20GB Auto-Top-Up bonus remained available, or that either configuration is offered in 2026.
As checked October 8, 2026, Lucky Mobile’s official prepaid plan page lists different plan tiers. Its current terms are the place to check for available prices and data; they do not verify the 2025 promotion.

How to compare a current prepaid offer
A headline data allowance can combine standard data with bonuses that have different conditions. Before choosing a replacement, compare the details that affect the cost and usable service:
- Monthly price and base data: Separate the plan’s regular allowance from promotional data.
- Bonus requirements: Check whether extra data depends on Automatic Top-Up, eligibility, or a successful recurring payment.
- Coverage: Confirm where calls, texts and data work; do not assume a similar price and allowance means the same geography.
- Speed: Lucky Mobile’s current prepaid page says service runs at 4G LTE speeds up to 150 Mbps and that speeds are reduced to up to 128 Kbps after included data is used.
- Activation and phone compatibility: Check whether you need a SIM and whether your phone is unlocked and compatible.
Lucky Mobile’s current prepaid page says Automatic Top-Up bonus data is applied after a successful payment when account and plan eligibility requirements are met. That current statement is not confirmation of the precise Auto-Top-Up terms attached to the 2025 Black Friday deal.

Lucky Mobile activation options listed now
For current activation, Lucky Mobile lists a $10 physical SIM and free eSIM activation. Its bring-your-own-phone page says customers can use an existing phone if it is unlocked and compatible. The page gives eSIM compatibility examples including iPhone XS or later, Google Pixel 6 series or later, and specified Samsung models. Check the carrier’s current compatibility information before activation; these details describe current site statements, not conditions of the 2025 promotion.
