Lucid Air trims ranked from least to most expensive
The ranking below uses Lucid’s current U.S. pages for the displayed 2027 lineup. Lucid describes the first three prices as “Buy from” prices and Sapphire as “Fully Equipped at” its listed price, so the figures are not presented on precisely the same basis.

What the price gaps mean
Using the displayed figures, the gap from Pure to Touring is $9,000; from Touring to Grand Touring, $35,000; and from Grand Touring to the fully equipped Sapphire price, $134,100. These are arithmetic differences between Lucid’s listed prices, before fees or options—not quotes for configured vehicles.

Pure to Touring: $9,000
Lucid lists Touring at $9,000 above Pure. Its comparison shows 431 projected miles versus 420 for Pure, along with 620 hp versus 430 hp. Buyers weighing the upgrade should compare their desired configuration and final transaction price, not assume the listed-price difference is the complete out-the-door premium.
Touring to Grand Touring: $35,000
Grand Touring is listed $35,000 above Touring. Lucid’s 2027 comparison gives it 512 projected miles and 819 hp, compared with Touring’s 431 projected miles and 620 hp. That is a manufacturer-stated step up in both range and power; projected range is not a promise of real-world distance.
Grand Touring to Sapphire: $134,100
Sapphire is the performance flagship in the listed lineup, with Lucid claiming 1,234 hp and a 1.89-second 0–60 mph time. Its projected range is 427 miles—below the Grand Touring’s 512 miles. The price comparison also needs care: Sapphire is listed as $249,000 fully equipped, while the other three use “Buy from” prices.
How to read Lucid’s range and price claims
- Range: The current displayed 2027 figures are manufacturer projections. Lucid says EPA estimates will be supplied when available; actual driving range can vary with conditions and configuration.
- Fees: Lucid’s displayed prices exclude tax, title, license, destination, and documentation fees. Options and final configuration can also affect what a buyer pays.
- Price language: “Buy from” and “Fully Equipped at” are different descriptions. Do not treat Sapphire’s figure as directly equivalent to a starting price without checking the configured vehicle details.
- Geography: This ranking is for the U.S. lineup and U.S.-dollar prices. Lucid’s Canada pages use Canadian-dollar pricing and fees, which should not be mixed into this comparison.
Why 2026 range figures should not be blended into the 2027 ranking
Lucid’s 2026 model-year release used different range wording: it described up to 431 miles for Air Touring and up to 512 miles for Air Grand Touring as EPA-estimated range, with wheel qualifications and a note that actual results vary. Ownership detail relevant to the price comparison
Lucid’s 2026 release says a 40-amp Mobile Charging Cable Kit, with NEMA 14-50 and NEMA 5-15 adapters, is standard across 2026 Air models. That fact is specific to the 2026 release and should not be assumed to establish 2027 equipment. Lucid also mentions an available RangeXchange adapter, but the cited material does not establish compatibility or a purchase case for a particular buyer. The release quotes Lucid senior vice president of powertrain Emad Dlala describing access to Tesla’s Supercharging network for the Air as “yet another major milestone”; that is the company executive’s statement, not an independent assessment.
