LCAI, AAVE and RTX serve different stated purposes, and the available evidence is not equally clear for each. Aave documents AAVE as a governance token for an established DeFi protocol; Lightchain AI describes LCAI as a token for its AI-oriented blockchain ecosystem; Remittix-associated pages present RTX as part of a crypto-to-fiat payments project, but give conflicting contract and launch-status details. Those descriptions come primarily from project materials, not independent verification of adoption or performance.
What can be established about each project?
“Legitimate” is not a single on-chain status. A project may publish documentation or operate a network while its adoption, token utility, control arrangements or token contract remain uncertain. The useful questions are what the project says it does, what its token is supposed to do, and whether current details can be independently checked.
| Project and token | What project materials describe | What remains important to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Lightchain AI (LCAI) | Lightchain AI describes a blockchain ecosystem oriented around AI applications, developer tools, Proof of Intelligence and an Artificial Intelligence Virtual Machine (AIVM). Its documentation says the mainnet launched at genesis on May 5, 2026, and lists chain ID 9200. | Descriptions of AI capabilities and token uses are project claims, not evidence by themselves of adoption or performance. The project’s token documents also differ on whether LCAI is exclusively for governance or has broader uses. |
| Aave (AAVE) | Aave documentation identifies AAVE as the protocol’s governance token and describes voting and delegation, including for holders of AAVE staked in the safety module. | Governance participation does not mean any individual holder controls the protocol. The status and execution of the buyback program should be checked against current Aave documentation. |
| Remittix (RTX) | Remittix-associated pages describe a project intended to let people and businesses pay fiat into bank accounts using crypto. One page describes RTX as an Ethereum token. | Associated pages show different contract addresses and inconsistent token-sale or launch stages. The available information does not establish one independently verified current contract or settle whether RTX is in presale, claim or launch phase. |
These are not interchangeable assets just because each has a ticker. AAVE’s documented role is governance; LCAI is presented as part of a blockchain ecosystem with AI-related ambitions; RTX is presented in connection with payments, but its current contract and status are less clear in the project-associated material.
What does LCAI do, and what is documented about Lightchain AI?
Lightchain AI’s website describes a combination of blockchain infrastructure, AI-oriented applications, developer tools and community governance. It presents Proof of Intelligence and the AIVM as central to the ecosystem, with the AIVM described as an execution layer. These are the team’s descriptions of its product; they do not establish real-world use, technical performance or independent validation.

Mainnet and supply claims
Lightchain AI’s mainnet overview records genesis at 2026-05-05 12:12:02 UTC, lists chain ID 9200 and states a fixed supply of 10,000,000,000 LCAI. The same page reports 66 validators across three nodes at its stated snapshot. These are figures published by the project, not independently audited network measurements. Its overview was last updated in May 2026, so chain details should be checked against current documentation before use.
Token role and a documentation difference
Lightchain AI’s tokenomics page says LCAI can pay for AI tasks, be staked for governance and unlock premium AIVM features; it also states a 10 billion token cap. The whitepaper surfaced alongside the project materials describes LCAI more narrowly as exclusively a governance token. Until the project resolves or updates that difference clearly, treat the broader utility list as a project-stated design rather than a settled description of how the token works in practice.

Governance and control
Lightchain’s governance documentation describes an on-chain Governor and Timelock. It cautions that listed parameters reflect the genesis configuration and may not reflect later governance changes. A reader assessing control should therefore check the current contracts and governance records rather than assume the published initial parameters are still in force.
What does AAVE do?
Aave’s documentation identifies AAVE as its native governance token. AAVE holders and holders of AAVE staked in the safety module can vote or delegate voting power. This gives token holders a documented route to participate in governance; it is not a promise that every proposal passes or that one holder can direct the protocol alone.

Aave’s documented buyback program
Aave documentation says governance approved a buyback program in August 2024 and that execution began in April 2025. The documentation states an annual budget of $50 million and weekly purchases ranging from $250,000 to $1.75 million, with the amount adjusted for market conditions, liquidity and volatility. Those are Aave-published program figures, not a guarantee of future purchases, token price support or investment returns. Check current Aave materials for any changes to execution or budget.
What is known—and unresolved—about Remittix and RTX?
Remittix-associated pages describe a crypto-to-fiat payments project intended to let users pay into bank accounts. One such page identifies RTX as an Ethereum token and states a supply of 1,500,000,000. A claim portal describes 60% as an initial claim and the remaining 40% over four months, while also acknowledging delayed TGE communications. These are project-side statements; they do not independently confirm the supply, claim schedule or token distribution on-chain.

The central practical issue is that Remittix-associated pages display different contract addresses and give inconsistent indications of purchase, claim and launch status. The available material does not establish which address is canonical or settle the token’s current stage. Do not treat an address copied from a search result or an isolated project page as verified, and do not connect a wallet or authorize a transaction on that basis alone.
How to verify an RTX contract before interacting
- Start from a current project channel you can authenticate. Find the contract address in a current, direct project announcement or official documentation, not a search snippet, repost or unsolicited message. Because the associated pages conflict, pause if they still disagree.
- Confirm the chain. If the project says the token is on Ethereum, check the address on an Ethereum block explorer and make sure the network selected in your wallet is Ethereum. A matching-looking address on another chain is not the same asset.
- Compare the exact address. Check every character against the current project announcement and the explorer’s token information. A similar name or ticker is not proof of identity.
- Check recent on-chain activity and token details. Review the contract and transaction history, and compare any supply or claim information with the project’s current statements. An explorer can show on-chain data; it cannot, by itself, prove that a project’s claims about its product or status are true.
- Review the transaction before signing. Confirm the network, destination, permissions and amount in your wallet. Do not sign if the contract source, token status or transaction purpose remains unclear.
Lightchain AI’s mainnet documentation offers a useful general warning: “Always double-check addresses, RPC URLs, and chain ID before signing transactions.” That warning applies especially when adding a network or signing a transaction; it does not establish the correctness of a third-party address.

How should you compare the three tokens?
| Comparison point | LCAI | AAVE | RTX |
|---|---|---|---|
| Documented project focus | AI-oriented blockchain ecosystem, applications and developer infrastructure, as described by Lightchain AI. | Governance of the Aave protocol, as described in Aave documentation. | Crypto-to-fiat payments, as described by Remittix-associated pages. |
| Stated token role | Project tokenomics describes AI-task payments, governance staking and premium AIVM access; the whitepaper describes governance only. | Governance, including voting or delegation by eligible holders. | Associated pages present RTX as the project’s Ethereum token; utility and launch details need stronger confirmation. |
| Information on control | Documentation describes a Governor and Timelock, but cautions that the listed settings reflect genesis and may have changed. | Documentation describes voting and delegation; participation does not equal unilateral control. | The available pages do not establish a clear, independently verified current status or contract. |
| Key verification issue | Check current chain details and distinguish documented plans from demonstrated use. | Check current governance and program documents for changes. | Resolve conflicting contract addresses and status claims before any wallet interaction. |
For all three, separate a token’s intended function from evidence that the function is being used. Project documentation can establish what a team says it has built or plans to do; it does not by itself verify adoption, future delivery or investment value.
Wallet safety and custody
A hardware wallet is a general-purpose option for keeping private keys offline while managing crypto assets, but the materials reviewed do not establish project-specific compatibility or endorse any particular device. A wallet cannot determine whether a token contract is genuine: the network and contract still need to be checked before you receive tokens or sign a transaction. Never share a seed phrase, and treat requests to connect a wallet or approve token permissions as consequential actions.
