What “up to 75% off” actually meant
The maximum discount was attached to the $19 laptop bag, reduced from a listed $79. It was not a typical discount for Lenovo laptops. The featured laptop reductions topped out at approximately 56% for the ThinkBook 16 Gen 6. The roundup’s category summary described maximum discounts of up to 65% for laptops, 51% for gaming products, 42% for tablets, 30% for monitors and 75% for accessories.
That distinction matters when judging value. A $60 laptop bag can show a larger percentage discount than a $1,279 laptop, but the laptop may be the more consequential purchase. Compare the final price, configuration and usefulness—not just the largest percentage in the headline.
The strongest Lenovo laptop deals
Best overall laptop value: ThinkBook 16 Gen 6 — $668
The ThinkBook 16 Gen 6 was the standout value among the listed laptops based on price and specifications. The advertised configuration included a 16-inch WUXGA touchscreen, 300-nit brightness, an Intel Core i5-1335U processor, 16GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD, Intel Iris Xe graphics and Windows 11 Pro. It also included a 1080p infrared camera and fingerprint reader.
The listed price was $668, down from $1,519, with coupon SAVEBIGONTB. That represented a claimed $851 saving, or 56%.
Buy if: you wanted a relatively large screen, Windows 11 Pro and solid office specifications without paying premium ultraportable prices.
Skip if: portability, a premium ThinkPad chassis, workstation graphics or demanding gaming performance mattered more than screen size and price.
ThinkBook is Lenovo’s business-oriented range, but it is not simply a cheaper ThinkPad. ThinkPad models generally target a more premium business and enterprise segment, while this ThinkBook configuration emphasized practical specifications and value. The $1,519 former price should be understood as the price shown in the listing, not as an independently verified normal selling price.

Best larger-screen productivity upgrade: ThinkBook 16 Gen 7 — $907
The ThinkBook 16 Gen 7 was listed at $907, down from $1,889, with the same SAVEBIGONTB coupon. Its configuration included a 16-inch WUXGA touchscreen, Intel Core Ultra 7 155U, 16GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, integrated Intel graphics, Windows 11 Pro, a 1080p infrared camera and a fingerprint reader.
It was newer and better equipped than the Gen 6 deal, particularly in processor generation and storage capacity. However, the higher price made it a productivity upgrade rather than automatically the better bargain.
Buy if: you needed 1TB of storage, preferred the newer platform or expected heavier multitasking.
Skip if: your work was ordinary web, office and video-call use and the $668 Gen 6 configuration met your needs.
Best premium ultraportable: ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 12 — $1,279

This was the clearest premium ThinkPad choice in the roundup. Its main financial caveat was storage: 256GB is modest for a laptop at this price, especially if you keep large files, photos or applications locally.
Buy if: you valued a lightweight, premium business laptop and could work comfortably with 256GB or use external/cloud storage.

Best high-memory and storage configuration: ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 11 — $1,673
The older ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 11 was listed at $1,673, down from $3,559, with coupon THINKPADDEAL. It paired a 14-inch WUXGA, 400-nit display with an Intel Core i7-1365U vPro processor, 32GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD and Windows 11 Pro.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteAlthough it was an older generation, this particular configuration offered twice the memory and four times the listed storage of the Gen 12 deal. That could make it the more practical choice for heavy multitasking or buyers who did not want to manage storage limits.
Laptop Mag’s cited review gave the model 4 out of 5 and praised its light weight, SSD performance and battery life. That is an attributed review assessment, not new testing for this historical deal.
Buy if: the exact configuration was genuinely available and 32GB RAM, 1TB storage and Windows 11 Pro mattered more than having the newer generation.
Skip if: you prioritized the newest platform, a longer expected product cycle or a lower price.

Tablet deals
The tablet offers were more varied than the headline laptop discounts:
- Lenovo Tab M9: $79, down from $139. This was the budget entertainment pick for streaming, browsing and basic use.
- Lenovo Tab M11: $195, down from $220. It offered a modest $25 reduction for shoppers wanting a larger step up from the entry-level M9.
- Lenovo Tab K11 LTE: $219, down from $249. Its defining feature was cellular connectivity, making it more useful away from Wi-Fi if an appropriate service plan was available.
- Lenovo Tab P12: $319, down from $349, with coupon
SAVE15TAB. This was the larger, more productivity-oriented Android tablet. - Lenovo Chromebook Duet 5: $349, down from $499, with coupon
BBYBOPIS. This was a detachable ChromeOS device, not an Android tablet.
Choose based on operating system and use case rather than discount alone. Android tablets are generally suited to mobile apps, media and casual browsing; the Chromebook Duet 5 is designed around ChromeOS and browser-based desktop workflows. Lenovo D24-40 — $99
The D24-40 was listed at $99, down from $149. It used a 23.8-inch Full HD VA panel and was the straightforward budget productivity choice for a home office, secondary display or basic desktop setup.
Lenovo G34w-30 — $359
The G34w-30 was listed at $359, down from $449. It was the more distinctive offer, with a 34-inch WQHD ultrawide display, 21:9 aspect ratio, 1500R curvature, 170Hz refresh rate, 0.5ms response time and AMD FreeSync support.

The G34w-30 made more sense for buyers who would use the extra horizontal workspace or gaming features. For ordinary spreadsheets and email, the $99 D24-40 could be the more financially sensible choice. Also check stand adjustment, ports, resolution and panel characteristics before treating a monitor’s percentage discount as proof of value.
The biggest accessory discounts
Largest percentage discount: Eco Style Tech Pro Topload bag — $19
The laptop bag created the 75% headline: $19 versus a listed $79. It was the largest percentage discount in the roundup, but it was an accessory rather than a laptop.
Largest dollar saving: ThinkReality A3 smart glasses — $299
The ThinkReality A3 smart glasses were listed at $299, down from $1,499, with coupon ARVRLENOVO. The nominal saving was $1,200, the largest dollar reduction shown.
That does not make the glasses a mainstream bargain. They require a specialized use case and compatible workflow, and they are not a replacement for a conventional monitor or laptop accessory.

How to judge a Lenovo sale price
- Match the exact configuration. Similar family names can hide different processors, displays, RAM and SSD capacities.
- Check memory and storage. The X1 Carbon Gen 12 listing had 16GB RAM and a 256GB SSD, while the older Gen 11 listing had 32GB RAM and a 1TB SSD. Those differences may matter more than the generation number.
- Confirm the coupon at checkout. Codes such as
SAVEBIGONTB,THINKPADDEAL,SAVE15TAB,BBYBOPISandARVRLENOVOwere listed for the historical promotion. Coupons can be configuration-specific, stock-limited, incompatible with other offers or expired. - Separate reference pricing from market pricing. A “was” price may be a retailer reference price rather than a typical selling price. Compare the final cost with equivalent configurations, not just the claimed percentage.
- Add the full purchase cost. Include tax, shipping, accessories, storage upgrades and any required connectivity plan for LTE tablets.
- Review returns and warranty coverage. A low price is less attractive if the return window, restocking terms or warranty do not suit your situation.
- Check price-protection limitations. Lenovo’s current US shopping FAQ describes conditions for price matching and post-purchase protection, including a stated 30-day window for certain post-invoice Lenovo.com price reductions. It also lists exclusions such as coupon offers, doorbusters, clearance, pricing errors, refurbished or used products, marketplace listings and some special discounts. That current policy should not be assumed to reproduce the exact 2024 terms.
Are these Lenovo Black Friday deals still available?
No. These were Black Friday 2024 prices reported as live on November 27, 2024. The source warned that quantities could sell out, and it did not establish one universal expiration time for every product. As of August 18, 2026, the prices, coupons, stock and links should be treated as expired or unverified.
Current Lenovo Black Friday and deals pages contain later products and promotions. Do not use them to reconstruct 2024 availability. For current shopping, start with Lenovo’s deals hub, ThinkPad deals page or IdeaPad deals page, and verify the exact configuration and price on the day you buy.
Lenovo’s current promotional pages may also advertise programs such as My Lenovo Rewards or a student and education-staff discount. Eligibility, exclusions and whether those benefits combine with sale pricing must be checked directly before purchase.
