Leicester City’s top 10 earners by weekly wages
The figures below are Interesting Football’s estimates for 2025/26, as published on 31 January 2026. They are not confirmed by Leicester City, and the source does not establish whether they represent basic wages, include bonuses, or reflect take-home pay.

Wout Faes is described as being on loan at Monaco in the same article. His inclusion therefore reflects the source’s reported ranking, not a claim that Leicester was paying the full estimated amount during the loan.
Why published rankings disagree
Salary estimates are not an official club payroll, and publishers may use different data, assumptions, or season labels. For example, SalarySport’s page labeled 2026/27 lists Boubakary Soumaré at £58,000 a week and gives a weekly wage bill of £673,145 across 69 players. Those figures are SalarySport estimates, not a like-for-like update to Interesting Football’s 2025/26 list.

Because these sources cover different seasons and do not establish a common wage basis, their leaders should not be combined into one definitive ranking. Squad changes, loan arrangements, contract terms, and each publisher’s estimation approach can also affect the lists.

Leicester City’s financial statements report £133.212 million in wages and salaries for the year ended 30 June 2025. The club’s announcement of those accounts says staff costs were 82.0% of turnover. These are aggregate club figures, not a breakdown of first-team player wages and not evidence of any individual salary.

The club publishes workforce data under FA Rule N, but its reviewed page does not provide an individual first-team salary ranking. The available official information therefore cannot verify the player estimates above.
