Its announcements outlined a 10,000-NFT collection and proposed digital and physical benefits, but those plans are not evidence that the collection, metaverse, games, or merchandise were delivered. Current project activity and availability are unverified.
What was Legendary Racers?
In a July 2022 Medium announcement, the project described itself as an NFT initiative focused on exotic supercars. The headline called it “groundbreaking,” but that was promotional wording in the project’s own announcement, not independent confirmation of its features or status. Read the July 2022 announcement.
A separate August 2022 project post set out a roadmap for an initial collection of 10,000 NFTs. These are historical statements about the project’s plans; they do not establish that the collection was released or remains available. Read the August 2022 roadmap.
What benefits and products did it propose?
The roadmap described a mix of digital utility and possible physical merchandise. It presented these as future intentions, not confirmed releases.

- Digital access and governance: NFT holders were expected eventually to gain access to a metaverse and participate in project governance.
- Games and events: The roadmap included games and events among its planned ecosystem features.
- Physical products: Proposed merchandise included caps, T-shirts, hoodies, action figures, a racing wheel, and remote-control supercars.
The roadmap does not confirm that any of these products were manufactured, sold, or fulfilled. In particular, “RC supercars” identifies a proposed product category, not a verified official toy or collaboration.
What did the Sandbox plan involve?
A Nasdaq contributor article dated August 10, 2022, by Shaun Abdi—identified in the article as Legendary Racers’ founder—described the collection as 10,000 Ethereum-based utility NFTs. It reported plans for a metaverse on The Sandbox, including an NFT gallery, VIP events, and an online shop for wearables. That dated contributor account documents what was proposed at the time; it does not confirm a current Sandbox integration or that those features launched. Read the Nasdaq contributor article.

What can be verified about its current status?
The available material establishes how the project described itself and its plans in 2022, not whether it is operating in 2026. It does not verify current NFT listings, a functioning game or metaverse, merchandise availability, or delivery of roadmap features. A developer portfolio describes Legendary Racers as an NFT-powered gaming platform and lists a technology stack, but a vendor portfolio entry alone does not establish current operations or independent user access. See Suffescom’s portfolio description.
For a prospective buyer, the practical distinction is between an announced utility and a usable, accessible product. The cited historical material is not enough to establish a current purchase opportunity, present market price, or investment value.
