Walker said she had passed 12 weeks of pregnancy and expected their family to grow by one in about six months, according to PerthNow’s report of 25 January 2025.
What Beth Walker shared with Leelo customers
Walker told the brand’s community that the news was “not activewear related.” She said customers had been a significant part of her and Meyer’s lives and described them as an extension of their family.
She also said she was excited to share the experience with the Leelo community. Walker anticipated that running the business while expecting would be challenging and said she planned to bring customers along as she navigated it.
How the announcement connects to Leelo
PerthNow reported that Walker and Meyer founded Leelo in 2019, starting the business in a spare bedroom. The announcement was personal news shared with the company’s customers, rather than a product launch.

Leelo’s apparel history provides context, but not evidence of a maternity range. In an April 2020 report, PerthNow described the business pivoting toward loungewear during COVID-19 disruptions and mentioned leggings and tracksuits. That historical coverage does not establish what Leelo sells today or whether it offers maternity clothing.
What the report does—and does not—confirm
The January 2025 report records the couple’s announcement and Walker’s expected timeframe at that point. It does not confirm a later birth or provide a current update about the family. It also does not establish that the couple’s announced new ranges, which Walker said were in development at the time, are currently available.
