These are salary-database estimates, not confirmed contract disclosures or figures from the club’s accounts.
Leeds United’s estimated 2026/27 wages
Capology puts Leeds United’s 2026/27 gross fixed-salary payroll at £73.84 million. The estimate excludes bonuses and represents estimated player fixed pay, rather than the club’s full personnel expense. Capology’s Leeds salaries page is the source for the current estimate.
On that same basis, Capology identifies Dominic Calvert-Lewin as Leeds’ highest estimated fixed-salary earner:
- Estimated gross weekly salary: £120,000
- Annualized amount: £6.24 million
- Qualification: estimate of fixed salary; bonuses are excluded and the figure is not a verified contract disclosure
How the estimates compare with earlier figures
FBref, which attributes its wage data to Capology, lists Leeds’ estimated 2025/26 annual wages at £59.306 million. Its individual player entries are marked “Unverified estimation.” The 2026/27 estimate is about £14.534 million higher, but that comparison is indicative rather than definitive: the sources’ timing, coverage and methods may differ.

| Period | Figure | What it measures | Source and qualification |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2026/27 | £73.84 million | Estimated gross fixed-salary payroll; bonuses excluded | Capology; estimate |
| 2025/26 | £59.306 million | Estimated annual wages | FBref, using Capology data; estimated, with individual entries marked unverified |
| 2024/25 accounts | £103 million | Reported wage expense in the club’s accounts | PSRwatch summary; a broader accounting measure for a different period |
Why the £103 million accounts figure is different
PSRwatch’s 2026 summary of Leeds United’s accounts for 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025 reports £103 million in wages, revenue of £137 million and a loss of £49.2 million. The £103 million figure is historical and should not be read as Leeds’ current first-team salary payroll.
Club accounts and salary databases measure different things. According to Capology’s scope caveat, official financial statements and UEFA publications may include senior and youth players, women’s teams, administrative staff, employer social-security and pension contributions, and severance. Capology’s estimates do not fully track all those costs, and its current fixed-salary figure excludes bonuses. The 2024/25 accounts expense and 2026/27 salary estimate therefore cannot be treated as like-for-like totals.

What to keep in mind when using player wage figures
- They are estimates: the sources cited do not establish these amounts as verified contract terms or official club disclosures.
- They can change: transfers, loans, contract changes, bonuses and updates to a provider’s methodology may affect published estimates.
- Check the measure and period: distinguish fixed player salaries from broader personnel costs, and compare figures only when their seasons, scope and bonus treatment align.
The Premier League’s Leeds United squad page provides official club and squad context, but does not verify wage figures.
