It does not disclose her salary, contract value, or expected earnings. The claim that she is “set to earn millions” is not supported by that announcement or by any financial disclosure tied to the deal, so it should be read as speculation.
What Hallmark actually announced on January 29, 2025
The primary source is Hallmark Corporate’s release titled “Hallmark Announces Expansive New Partnership With Network Star Lacey Chabert Across Product, Series, And Film Businesses.” It describes three separate commitments.

An extended multi-picture movie deal
Under the extended deal, Chabert will continue to star in, develop, and produce Hallmark film projects “into 2025 and beyond.” The release does not give a film count, a contract term, or any payment terms. Hallmark also said she had starred in her 40th original Hallmark movie in 2024, a company-published career count rather than an earnings figure.
A second season of Celebrations with Lacey Chabert on Hallmark+
Chabert will continue as host and executive producer of the second season of Celebrations with Lacey Chabert, which is carried on Hallmark+. The renewal is the only detail of the series in the announcement; it includes no fee or budget figures.
#1 Best Overall
- The Journey Ahead: A famous Hollywood actress and a young wilderness expert drive from Los Angeles to New York. Along the way both women learn they can't run from their past to create the future they want. The Presence of Love: Adjunct professor Joss travels to England to visit the farm where her late mother grew up and bonds with single-father, Daniel, whose family now runs it. North to Home: The McBride sisters reunite in Alaska for a memorable birthday celebration connecting their past to the present.
A branded product collection
Hallmark planned a Chabert product collection for Holiday 2025, sold through Hallmark Gold Crown Stores and Hallmark.com. The initial categories were greeting cards, gift wrap, and entertaining essentials, with everyday products to extend into 2026. Hallmark described the collection as exclusive to those two channels. Because the holiday launch date was in 2025, readers in October 2026 should check whether the collection launched on that schedule; this article did not verify its launch, sales, or current availability.
What the executives said
Darren Abbott, Hallmark Chief Brand Officer, said in the January 29, 2025 announcement: “Our fans resonate deeply with Lacey’s unique ability to help us tell meaningful stories at the holidays and throughout the year.” Chabert said in the same release: “I’m incredibly grateful to continue to star in, develop and produce inspiring and rewarding projects like Hallmark’s widely adored original movies and the second season of Celebrations with Lacey Chabert.” Both statements describe the creative relationship. Neither mentions money.

What the announcement leaves out
Earnings headlines depend on numbers that the announcement does not contain. The table below separates what the release states from what it leaves undisclosed.

Why “set to earn millions” does not follow from the deal
A larger scope of work is not the same as a larger paycheck. An extended film deal, a renewed series, and a product line could each pay very different amounts, and some could pay nothing up front. To know whether a figure like “millions” is plausible, a reader would need to know at least the following:

- Hallmark Passport to Love 12-Movie Collection: Rome in Love, Love on Iceland, Paris Wine & Romance, As Luck Would Have It, A Paris Proposal, Her Pen Pal, A Pinch of Portugal, Loves Greek to Me, A Scottish Love Scheme, Summer to Remember, Two Tickets to Paradise, Love, Romance & Chocolate
- The fee per film or per episode, and whether it is guaranteed.
- How many projects the deal covers and over what period.
- Whether producing and development work carries a separate fee.
- Whether the product collection pays a royalty, and at what rate.
- Whether any figure is gross revenue, net income, or a multi-year total.
None of these items is disclosed in the announcement. Without them, the headline can neither be confirmed nor ruled out. What can be said is narrower: Hallmark expanded its relationship with Chabert across film, series, and merchandise, and the company did not publish what that expansion pays.
Where Candace Cameron Bure fits
The Independent reported Chabert responding to criticism of the channel that Candace Cameron Bure had voiced in 2022. That reporting documents a public exchange between the two performers. It does not establish that Bure’s situation caused Hallmark to offer Chabert a larger deal, or that it raised her earnings. Hallmark’s announcement does not mention Bure.

- Unwrapping Christmas: Tina's Miracle: Successful gift-wrapping shop owner Tina is in charge of planning this year's annual Christmas gala. But things begin to go awry when the gala faces cancellation due to a scrooge-like estate owner.
A 2024 Us Weekly roundup quoted Hallmark executive vice president Lisa Hamilton Daly describing some talent deals from 2022 as “usually for either two movies, and some of them are for a Christmas movie.” That is a general description of how some deals were structured, not a statement about Chabert’s contract. It should not be read as the number of films in her deal.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. The lawsuit context is separate from pay
The Associated Press reported allegations in a lawsuit that a Hallmark executive sought to replace “old talent,” naming actors including Chabert. Hallmark denied the allegations. The story concerns workplace practices and litigation. It contains no information about compensation, and it should not be used to estimate what Chabert earns or what her contract is worth.

- The Groomsmen First Look: A cautious pediatrician and an overseas doctor meet at a wedding in Philadelphia, but the long distance, family, and their friends may hinder their budding romance. The Groomsmen Second Chances: Danny finds the courage to admit his romantic feelings for his best friend, when he is asked to be the best man at his wedding in Greece. The Groomsmen Last Dance: Jackson moves to Italy to be near his daughter, but a chance meeting with cafe owner Gabriella, and some meddling friends, may lead to a second chance at love.
How to check an earnings headline before trusting it
- Look for a dollar figure attributed to a named source, such as a contract document, a trade report citing people with knowledge of the deal, or the performer’s own filing. A figure without a source is an estimate.
- Separate deal scope from pay. Films, episodes, product categories, and credits describe work. They do not describe income.
- Check the date. The Hallmark announcement is from January 29, 2025. A later contract, renewal, or dispute could change the picture.
- Ask what “millions” measures: gross receipts from a product line, a total across several seasons, or what the performer keeps after agents, taxes, and production costs.
- Be cautious with net-worth sites that publish estimates without methodology. Those figures are not disclosures.
Where things stand in October 2026
The sources cited here date from 2022 through early 2025. They establish what Hallmark announced and what the parties said at the time. They do not show whether the film deal has been extended again, whether the second season aired as planned, or whether the product collection launched on schedule. Hallmark’s own corporate announcements are the best place to check for later changes. Until a figure is published by Hallmark, the performer, or a reliable financial report, the amount Chabert earns from these arrangements remains unknown.
The useful financial takeaway is that a company’s announcement of an expanded partnership is a statement about scope and public positioning. It is not a statement about pay, and readers should not treat it as one.
