What the KTM RC 390’s performance figures tell you
KTM’s 2024 U.S. specification sheet describes a liquid-cooled, 373 cm³ single-cylinder, four-stroke engine producing 37 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed transmission. The same sheet lists Bosch engine management with ride-by-wire and CO₂ emissions of 81 g/km. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent performance or fuel-economy test results.

Chassis, suspension, and brakes
The listed chassis uses a steel trellis frame, a 66.5° steering-head angle, 84 mm of trail, and a 1,343 mm wheelbase. Suspension is a WP APEX 43 mm upside-down fork at the front and a WP APEX monoshock at the rear, with 120 mm front travel and 150 mm rear travel. KTM specifies a 320 mm front brake disc and a 230 mm rear disc.
Riding aids and regional equipment claims
KTM South East Europe’s Greece-focused release dated January 29, 2025, reports 44 hp and lists TFT connectivity, cornering ABS, Supermoto mode, traction control, and a slipper clutch. Those details come from that regional release; check the specification for the exact model sold in your country, since equipment and stated power may vary by market or model year.

These figures are not directly interchangeable: they refer to different countries, dates, and price conventions. Before budgeting, ask a local KTM dealer for the current model-year price and an itemized on-road quote, including freight, taxes, registration, and any dealer charges that apply in your jurisdiction.
Dimensions and weight to consider before buying
KTM’s 2024 U.S. technical page lists a seat height of 824 mm, approximate fuel capacity of 13.7 L, ground clearance of 158 mm, and weight of 158 kg without fuel. The weight figure excludes fuel, so it should not be treated as ready-to-ride weight. Seat height alone also cannot determine whether the bike will feel manageable; rider proportions and the motorcycle’s balance matter.

What the design and official photos show
KTM describes the international model’s bodywork as redesigned and race-inspired. The company says the shape was developed using computational fluid dynamics simulations and is intended to improve wind protection and top speed. These are manufacturer statements about design intent, not independently measured aerodynamic or top-speed results.
KTM’s international page also describes a 13.7 L tank inspired by its Moto3 race bike. To view KTM’s product photographs and color views, use the official 2024 U.S. RC 390 page and the international RC 390 page. The fact that images are viewable on those pages does not itself grant permission to reproduce them.
