No—the November 2024 KTET registration window is not open. The official notification set 20 November 2024 as the deadline to submit the application, pay the fee and take the final printout. For the separate 2026 cycle, the official homepage currently displays an extension to 9 October 2026, but another official page still shows the earlier 3 October schedule. Check the live portal before applying.
When did November 2024 KTET registration close?
Pareeksha Bhavan’s official November 2024 notification set 20 November 2024 as the last day to submit the online application, pay the fee and take the final printout. Registration opened on 11 November 2024. The notification is available from the official K-TET portal.
That cycle’s hall-ticket download date was listed as 8 January 2025. Category I and II examinations were scheduled for 18 January 2025, and Category III and IV for 19 January 2025. Each session was listed as two and a half hours. These are dates from the November 2024 notification, not current application dates.
What does the official portal show for the 2026 cycle?
The official K-TET homepage displays the notice “Registration date extended upto 09/10/2026.” However, the official registration-information page still shows applications from 23 September to 3 October 2026 and a final-printout date of 3 October. The retrieved official pages do not explain the mismatch or establish whether the extension applies to every application step.

Because the dates conflict, do not assume that the banner resolves every deadline. Visit the live portal and read its current notification and application instructions before submitting or paying. The registration-information page advises applicants to read the notification, general information and guidelines carefully before applying.
What is K-TET?
Pareeksha Bhavan describes K-TET as “an examination to assess the quality of teacher candidates for Lower Primary, Upper Primary and High School Classes in Kerala.” The examination is organized by category; check the current notification to confirm which category and requirements apply to you.
