The official portal describes K-TET as an examination that assesses the quality of teacher candidates for lower primary, upper primary and high school classes in Kerala. It links the examination’s purpose to the state’s responsibility under the Right to Education Act 2009 to ensure quality requirements for teacher recruitment. See the official KTET portal.
