KRAFTON reported record first-half 2024 revenue of KRW 1,372.9 billion and operating profit of KRW 642.6 billion. Compared with the same period a year earlier, revenue rose 48.3% and operating profit rose 55.0%. The company attributed the results to strong performance from its PUBG intellectual property and momentum across its live services.
What KRAFTON reported for H1 2024

KRAFTON described both figures as record half-year results in its 2024 earnings release. The operating-profit figure is not the same as net income: it reflects operating performance before items such as financing costs and taxes.
Why did revenue and operating profit rise?
KRAFTON identified PUBG IP performance as a central driver. Its official Japanese first-half release also pointed to continued sales and traffic growth across multiple live services using the PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS IP. That points to strength across the service portfolio, rather than a result that can be attributed to a single game or revenue stream from the available H1 disclosure.
How much of the result came from PUBG?
The H1 figures establish the company-wide totals and identify PUBG IP performance as a driver, but they do not provide a complete PUBG-only revenue or profit split. It is therefore not possible from these figures to calculate how much of KRAFTON’s H1 operating profit came specifically from PUBG.

What later 2024 results add to the picture
KRAFTON’s later full-year reporting gives additional context, but these figures cover 2024 as a whole and should not be read as H1 results. The company reported that PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS on PC and console reached 890,000 peak concurrent users during 2024. It also said BGMI achieved its highest-ever sales and helped drive a 35.7% year-over-year increase in mobile revenue. These full-year details are consistent with the company’s emphasis on PUBG and live-service performance, but they do not replace a missing first-half breakdown by game or platform.
How to read the record profit figure
Operating profit grew faster than revenue in the first half, which indicates that operating profit increased relative to sales. Dividing the reported operating profit by reported revenue gives an approximate H1 operating margin of 46.8%. This is a calculation from KRAFTON’s reported figures, not a separately quoted company metric. It is not net margin, and by itself it does not show cash generation, returns to shareholders, or how results compare with other game publishers.
