MobileSyrup reported in July 2024 that one Koodo customer’s account displayed a $65-per-month, 120GB 5G plan with Canada–U.S. data, talk and text. That report does not establish whether the offer is available now: Koodo’s current guidance is to sign in and check the offers on your own account.
What was included in the reported $65 Koodo plan?
On July 10, 2024, MobileSyrup reported seeing the plan among upgrade choices in one Koodo account. It was listed at $65 per month for 120GB on a 5G plan, with Canada–U.S. data, talk and text included. The report is a historical account observation, not a current public rate card or proof that all customers could choose it. MobileSyrup’s report

What does “5G” mean for access and speed?
A plan described as 5G does not by itself guarantee a 5G connection or a particular speed. Koodo says access requires a compatible device, an eligible 5G speed plan and 5G coverage. Its help information lists potential speeds of up to 1 Gbps on 5G speed plans, but actual speeds vary with location, signal, network conditions, device and plan. TELUS announced on May 29, 2026 that a 5G speed upgrade for Koodo Pick Your Perk customers with compatible devices was expected to roll out over six months. That announcement concerns speed; it does not confirm that the historical $65/120GB offer was renewed or is available. TELUS’s announcement

How should you assess the U.S. benefit?
The 2024 report described Canada–U.S. data, talk and text as included in the specific offer it observed. Read the current offer’s terms for included destinations, usage conditions and limits before switching; do not assume the wording or terms are unchanged.
Koodo’s current network page lists U.S. Easy Roam at up to $14 per day in its standard roaming context. That rate is not the charge for the historical $65 offer, whose report described cross-border use as included. Check the terms for your own plan and account. Koodo’s roaming information
