A former Koodo customer reported receiving a targeted $25-per-month plan with 60GB of 5G data after switching to Rogers. The offer was reported in April 2025; it is not proof that the same deal is currently available to other former customers.
What was included in the reported Koodo offer?
MobileSyrup reported on April 3, 2025, that a reader who had moved from Koodo to Rogers received a call from Koodo a week later with a win-back offer. The reported terms were:
- $25 per month for 60GB of 5G data.
- Unlimited Canada-wide calling and texting.
- 1,250 long-distance minutes to the United States, India, Germany, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Bangladesh, Italy, Mexico and Australia.
Those terms describe one reader’s account of a targeted offer, as reported by MobileSyrup. They are not an independently tested plan or a promise that all former Koodo customers qualify.
Can former Koodo customers get it now?
Current eligibility for this specific $25/60GB offer is not established by Koodo’s public plan information. Koodo’s homepage presents current offers but does not confirm that this reported 2025 win-back deal remains available to other customers. Treat it as account-specific unless Koodo gives you a direct, current offer or confirms your eligibility.

If you are considering leaving Koodo to seek a win-back offer, do not budget on receiving this deal. The reported customer received a call after switching, but one account does not establish that Koodo will contact another customer, when it might do so, or what terms it might offer.
What to verify before accepting a targeted offer
Koodo’s service terms say the company may change eligibility requirements and may change or remove discounts, promotions and benefits. They also say recurring plan and feature charges are billed one month in advance. Before agreeing to an offer, ask Koodo to confirm its terms in writing and check:

- The recurring plan price and whether any discount is temporary or conditional.
- The data allowance and the speed or network access included.
- Domestic calling and texting allowances, plus any international minutes and their destination list.
- Any account, activation or eligibility requirements.
- When billing begins and how the first bill will be calculated.
Save or screenshot the written offer, including its duration and conditions. That gives you a record to compare with the first bill and refer to if the account terms do not match what you accepted.
Does the offer require a new phone or physical SIM?
Koodo’s public BYOD plans page says Mobility plans come with 5G speed, unlimited Canada-wide minutes, unlimited international SMS and a choice of perk. It also describes eSIM activation and says a 5G-compatible device is needed to use 5G. This public information does not verify the terms or continued availability of the reported win-back plan, but it does mean a new phone or physical SIM should not be assumed to be necessary. Confirm compatibility and activation details with Koodo for your account.

How to compare it with another carrier’s offer
If Koodo gives you a current offer, compare it with the other carrier’s plan using the same terms—not just the headline price:
- Recurring price after temporary or conditional credits end.
- Data amount and speed or network access.
- Domestic calling and texting.
- International minutes and eligible destinations.
- Phone compatibility and activation requirements, including eSIM availability.
- Whether the plan is publicly orderable or limited to your account.
The reported $25/60GB offer is a useful reference point, but the conditions attached to a current offer matter as much as its advertised monthly price.
