A film project involving Kanye West (Ye) and Bianca Censori was promoted publicly and reportedly premiered in Los Angeles in February 2025. The often-quoted $25 million budget, however, has not been independently confirmed in the reviewed reporting. It should be treated as an allegation, not a verified production cost.
Was there a Kanye West and Bianca Censori movie?
Yes. In a social-media announcement reported by Sky TG24, West said Censori had acted in her first film, shot in Japan, directed by Vanessa Beecroft and produced by him. Sky TG24 and Fanpage reported that the project had a Los Angeles premiere on February 23, 2025. A premiere establishes that the project was presented at an event; it does not establish a general theatrical or streaming release.
Sky TG24’s February 2025 report reproduced West’s statement in Italian: “Sono così orgoglioso che mia moglie abbia recitato nel suo primo film, girato in Giappone con la regia di Vanessa Beecroft e prodotto da me.” The outlet’s English translation is: “I’m so proud that my wife acted in her first film, shot in Japan, directed by Vanessa Beecroft and produced by me.”
Is the $25 million budget confirmed?
No. Sky TG24 and Fanpage reported that press coverage put the budget at $25 million, but the reviewed articles do not provide a budget document, name a production executive confirming the amount, or cite a primary record. The figure is therefore a reported estimate, not an independently established production budget.

That distinction matters: without a confirmed budget, the $25 million figure cannot reliably be treated as the film’s final cost, a studio-approved allocation or an audited total. The reporting does not explain how the amount was calculated or what expenses it may include.
What is the film about, and who made it?
Coverage characterizes the project as a fashion film built around Censori, using vignettes and montages. That description is not an official synopsis in the sources reviewed. Some scene details and descriptions came from unnamed sources cited by outlets, so they should not be mistaken for confirmed statements from West or the production team.

The available February 2025 reports establish a Los Angeles premiere, but the reviewed material does not confirm a subsequent public release or identify a current streaming, rental or theatrical option.
