Juan Martín del Potro’s current net worth has not been established by a reliable public source. What is documented is his career tennis prize money: $25,896,046, according to the ATP’s 2026 Media Guide. That figure is tournament prize money—not a measure of his assets, debts, taxes, or cash today.
Is Juan Martín del Potro’s net worth publicly known?
No verified current net-worth figure is established in the available official player records and reporting cited here. A net-worth estimate requires information about assets and liabilities, not just money earned on court. The ATP, Australian Open, and Roland-Garros figures below document career prize money; they do not provide a personal balance sheet.
For that reason, online estimates should not be treated as confirmed valuations unless they explain their sources and methods. The reviewed sources do not establish del Potro’s current assets, liabilities, investment outcomes, or endorsement income.
How much prize money did del Potro earn?
The ATP’s 2026 Media Guide lists $25,896,046 in career prize money. The Australian Open and Roland-Garros player profiles report the same total, corroborating the ATP figure:

Why do some reports say about $26 million?
In February 2022, Forbes Argentina reported, citing ATP figures, that del Potro had earned around $26 million in prize money. That was a rounded, date-specific report of career tournament earnings. It is consistent with the more precise $25,896,046 total later listed by the ATP and shown on the two Grand Slam player profiles; it is not a net-worth estimate. Forbes Argentina’s February 2022 report also covered his possible retirement as he dealt with knee pain.

What is known about his retirement?
Del Potro’s final competitive period was shaped by persistent knee problems. Before the Argentina Open in February 2022, he said his knee pain meant the event might be his last; Forbes Argentina quoted him saying, “Tal vez sea más una despedida que una vuelta” (“Maybe it is more a farewell than a comeback”). In a 2026 official tournament interview, he discussed adjusting to life after retirement and referred to repeated knee surgery. Those accounts provide career context, not financial disclosures.
