Scroll reported that the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) released an examination calendar for recruitment tests in 2024 and directed eligible candidates to the commission website, jssc.nic.in. A June 27, 2024, Careers360 report listed the following expected examination and result windows. They should not be read as exact dates or proof that an exam or result took place then.

Why the June timetable is not a definitive schedule
DD News On Air reported on August 7, 2024, that JSSC had issued a revised calendar for that year’s competitive examinations. Its report said appointments for more than 38,949 posts were possible by December; that was a projection at the time, not confirmation that those appointments were completed.

The available reporting confirms that a revision was announced, but does not establish its detailed schedule or the eventual dates and outcomes for each recruitment. Do not combine the June windows with the August revision as if they formed one final timetable. For authoritative information about any recruitment, use the relevant official JSSC notice.

- Open the calendar, review the listed information and download a copy. You can print it for reference.
If the old calendar link is no longer available, look for the relevant recruitment notice or calendar in JSSC’s current official notices. A downloaded copy of the June schedule should not take precedence over a later official update.
