Why the result is called 2023 and the advertisement is 2024
JPSC’s official result document is titled Combined Civil Services Examination-2023 Written and Interview (Final Result) and identifies Advertisement No. 01/2024. The “2024” in common search phrasing refers to the advertisement number; it is not the examination cycle stated in the result’s title. The PDF is dated 25 July 2025.
How to download and check the JPSC result
- Open the official JPSC final-result PDF.
- Use the PDF viewer’s search function to find your roll number. If you are checking a downloaded copy, the same search function is usually available with Ctrl+F on Windows or Command+F on Mac.
- Check the full row for your roll number. The list includes the candidate’s name, gender, primary category, allocated service, and selected-under category.
The PDF contains 16 result pages. Confirm the details in the same row rather than relying on a name alone.
Where to find marks, cutoff marks, or a revised result
JPSC’s examination page for Advertisement No. 01/2024 lists related documents separately, including result, revised-result, marks-download, and cutoff-mark entries. Choose the notice that matches what you need. A separate revised-result or marks notice should not be confused with the final-result PDF linked above.
