No reliable public source establishes Joseph DePinto’s personal net worth. Seven & i Holdings’ official disclosures report compensation associated with his executive roles, but those figures do not reveal his personal assets, debts, investments, or total wealth.
Is Joseph DePinto’s net worth publicly known?
A dependable, sourced figure for DePinto’s personal net worth is not established in the public sources reviewed. Company compensation disclosures are not personal balance sheets: they do not show what he owns, what he owes, how much he has invested, or how much of his compensation he has retained.
For that reason, any specific net-worth estimate should be treated as unverified unless it is supported by credible evidence about his personal assets and liabilities. Executive pay alone cannot establish that figure.
What Seven & i disclosed about DePinto’s compensation
Seven & i Holdings’ FY2025 securities report, published April 28, 2026, lists ¥13,417 million in total consolidated compensation for DePinto for that fiscal year. The same compensation table includes ¥10,368 million in severance pay. The report says the severance arose upon his retirement as director and CEO of 7-Eleven, Inc. These are reported compensation amounts, not a statement of net worth. Seven & i Holdings, FY2025 Securities Report

FY2025 pay components
The report separately gives fixed compensation of US$1.950 million, short-term incentives of US$0.664 million, and long-term incentives of US$17.754 million. It converts those amounts to yen using ¥149.61 per U.S. dollar. The report’s yen total and its separately itemized pay components are different presentations of compensation; neither measures DePinto’s accumulated wealth.
Seven & i also says that more than 90% of total compensation is performance-based, describing its CEO compensation structure. This does not indicate how much DePinto received as personal net worth.
How the FY2024 comparison differs
For FY2024, Seven & i reported total consolidated compensation of ¥4,349 million. It separately listed fixed compensation of US$1.950 million, short-term incentives of US$2.881 million, and long-term incentives of US$23.684 million, converted at ¥151.69 per U.S. dollar. These are FY2024 compensation figures, not wealth estimates, and use that report’s stated exchange-rate basis. Seven & i Holdings, FY2024 Securities Report
The FY2025 report also states that the P&L impact of severance was ¥5,635 million, of which ¥2,977 million was recorded as other extraordinary losses. Those accounting amounts describe the company’s reporting, not DePinto’s personal assets or net worth.
