Jon and Marcia Kinzenbaw’s no-reserve online auction of antique and collectible tractors closed on November 4, 2025. Sullivan Auctioneers advertised more than 150 original and restored tractors; post-sale coverage reported that more than 100 machines went to new homes. Two reported top results were $50,250 apiece for a 1971 John Deere 4020 and a 1969 Massey Ferguson 1130.
The Kinzenbaw tractor auction has ended
The sale was a timed online auction handled by Sullivan Auctioneers, identified in the listing as a BigIron company. It closed November 4, 2025, at 9 a.m. Central. The equipment was located at 2148 PP Avenue in Williamsburg, Iowa. The auction is not currently open, and the published preview and load-out dates have passed.
The auction listing scheduled a preview open house for October 27–30 and load-out for November 5–7, 2025. Its notice said the preview covered only tractors selling in the auction; it did not offer tours of the wider collection. Sullivan Auctioneers’ auction listing
What was in the collection?
Sullivan advertised more than 150 tractors, both original and restored. That figure refers to tractors, not the total number of auction lots. Agriculture.com described the overall catalog as more than 200 lots, including approximately 35 non-running parts tractors, lots of original tires, around 20 late-model factory items, and side-by-sides. The reported lot count and approximate category counts are pre-sale descriptions, not a final sold inventory. Agriculture.com’s preview of the auction

The machines covered multiple eras and makes. The auctioneer’s listing included examples dating to 1937, such as John Deere B and D models. Agriculture.com reported at least 14 manufacturers, including John Deere, International, Ota, and Honeybee, and described a catalog stretching from pre-World War II tractors to mid-century machines.
Pre-sale coverage highlighted 52 International tractors and more than 20 John Deere items, along with a 1966 IH Farmall 1206, several Farmall Super Ms, and a 1937 John Deere B. Those were catalog descriptions before the auction, not final counts of items sold. The sale included both restored tractors and machines in original condition. Tractor Zoom’s Ryan Roossinck noted the number of tractors still in original “work clothes” and said collectors value originality; that observation is not an independent assessment of any individual tractor’s condition or value. How the owner described the outcome
In a post-sale interview reported by Agriculture.com, Jon Kinzenbaw said, “We broke quite a few records on what things were bringing.” He also said, “Overall, everything brought way more than we thought it would bring. It was just tractors all over the place that brought double what they should have brought.” Those remarks convey his reaction to the auction; they are not a measured market-wide statistic about antique tractor prices. The reported $50,250 results show what two specific machines brought at this auction. They do not establish what another tractor should sell for: year, make and model, originality or restoration, running status, visible condition, configuration, attachments, and any documented hours can all distinguish one lot from another. Tire dimensions also matter to a particular configuration, but the 4020’s sizes should not be generalized to other machines.
