The JKSSB Supervisor application window for Advertisement Notification No. 02 of 2023 is closed. The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board accepted applications from 15 December 2023 through 14 January 2024; the notice is not an open “apply now” opportunity. The recruitment was for District Cadre Supervisor posts in the Social Welfare Department. JKSSB later revised the advertised vacancy count from 201 to 186, and its notices document an OMR examination held on 23 June 2024.
Is JKSSB Supervisor registration for 2023 still open?
No. JKSSB’s Advertisement Notification No. 02 of 2023, dated 8 December 2023, set 14 January 2024 as the last date to apply online. That deadline has passed. A generic registration or sign-in page on jkssb.nic.in does not reopen this recruitment or establish that applications for this post are being accepted.

What was the recruitment for?
The advertisement invited applications for Supervisor, District Cadre posts in the Jammu and Kashmir Social Welfare Department. The vacancy count changed after the initial advertisement:

When referring to the recruitment, use 201 for the original advertisement and 186 for the later revised count. The figures describe different stages, not two current application options.
Who was eligible to apply?
The notice specified eligible female candidates who were graduates and held a valid Jammu and Kashmir domicile certificate. It gave preference to candidates with Home Science, Child Development or Sociology as a subject. A later JKSSB eligibility notice repeats the subject criterion as: “Female Graduate. Preference shall be given to candidates having Home Science, Child Development/Sociology as one of the subjects.”
That summary does not cover every condition. Age limits, reservation, category-specific rules, district-cadre allocation and any changes should be checked in the complete advertisement and subsequent corrigenda; the short eligibility description cannot determine an individual candidate’s eligibility.
What happened after applications closed?
JKSSB’s later eligibility notice records that the Supervisor examination was conducted in OMR mode on 23 June 2024. It describes the objective examination as worth 95 marks and the relevant subject preference as worth 5 marks. These are the criteria stated in that notice.
