Advertisement Notification No. 03 of 2025, dated 24 April 2025, invited applications for Junior Engineer (Civil) posts in two Jammu and Kashmir government departments. The vacancy counts below are administrative figures stated in the JKSSB advertisement.

The department split alone does not establish differences in duties, posting locations, pay or eligibility. Those details depend on the applicable notification and its annexures.
Application dates and current status
JKSSB opened online applications on 5 May 2025 and closed them on 3 June 2025. The window has ended; the 2025 process is not accepting new applications.

- Read the advertisement and information bulletin. Review the notification and its annexures before starting, especially the post-specific eligibility and document requirements.
- Check eligibility against the notification. JKSSB’s FAQ says candidates must meet the criteria in the relevant advertisement and hold the required qualification and documents by the cutoff date fixed there.
- Complete the online application form. Applicants were instructed to submit an application for the relevant post. JKSSB warned that multiple applications for the same post could be rejected.
- Upload the required files. The process called for a photograph, signature and category certificate, as applicable.
- Complete live face capture and verification. Face capture and face verification were mandatory parts of the online process.
- Pay the application fee before the deadline. The fee had to be paid by 3 June 2025 for an application submitted during that cycle.

Do not rely on a generalized summary for qualification, age limits, relaxations, pay, category-wise vacancy counts or selection criteria.
