There was no single release date for every JKSSB Constable admit card in 2024. The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) published separate notices for different constable streams and recruitment stages. Candidates should match their post and stage—written examination or PST/PET—to the relevant notice on the official JKSSB website before acting.
Which JKSSB Constable 2024 notice applies to you?
The recruitment was advertised as Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2024, dated 16 July 2024, for constable posts in the J&K Police Home Department. The notice archive lists written-examination notices for three streams, with different scheduled exam dates:
| Post or stream | Stage | Scheduled examination date |
|---|---|---|
| Constable (Armed/IRP/Executive/SDRF) | Written examination | 1 December 2024 |
| Constable (Telecommunication) | Written examination | 8 December 2024 |
| Constable (Photography) | Written examination | 22 December 2024 |
These are examination dates shown in JKSSB’s notice listings, not one universal admit-card release date. The archive also has separate admit-card notices for Physical Standard Test/Physical Endurance Test (PST/PET). A written-exam notice does not establish the timing or instructions for a PST/PET call-up, and vice versa. See the JKSSB notice archive for the notice matching your stream and stage.
How to find the right admit-card notice
- Open the official JKSSB website and locate the notice for the exact constable post or stream named in your recruitment record.
- Check whether the notice is for the written examination or PST/PET. Do not assume an admit card for one stage or stream is valid for another.
- Follow the instructions in that notice. If it directs candidates to an official candidate portal, use that portal to access the admit card.
- Before making travel plans or appearing, check the archive for a revised schedule or a later notice for your stage.
JKSSB identifies its website as the channel for admit cards, examination notices, answer keys, results and selection lists. Use the board’s notice and linked portal rather than relying on a date or download link that does not identify the relevant post and stage.

What the written-exam notice tells you
JKSSB’s citizen charter describes written examinations as objective-type multiple-choice tests conducted in OMR mode. That format applies to the written examination; it does not describe the PST/PET stage. The specific notice remains the source for candidate instructions and any schedule updates.
