JiaYu reportedly opened a shop selling its smartphones and accessories in Kassel, Germany, in March 2014. GizChina described it as the Chinese phone brand’s second official physical store in Europe, following an earlier shop in Spain.
What opened in Kassel?
On March 27, 2014, GizChina reported that JiaYu had recently opened a store in Kassel, in the German state of Hesse, in partnership with local entrepreneurs. The shop offered JiaYu smartphones and accessories, according to GizChina’s report.
GizChina called the Kassel location JiaYu’s second official physical store in Europe and said the first had opened in Spain a few years earlier. That count and chronology are GizChina’s description; independent confirmation of the company’s European store history is not established by the available reporting.
What later reporting says about the location
In later local coverage, HNA associated a JiaYu shop with Ständeplatz, Friedrich-Ebert-Str. 1 in Kassel and described it as the only German shop customers could visit at the time. This supports the existence of a physical JiaYu retail presence in Kassel after the 2014 opening report, but it does not establish that this was the opening-day address. See HNA’s local coverage.

Is the Kassel shop still open?
The cited reports do not establish whether the historical Kassel shop remains open today, so they cannot be used as a current store listing or to confirm present opening hours. JiaYu Europe GmbH’s current imprint gives a different address—Kirchweg 37, 65835 Liederbach am Taunus—and names Jian Zhang as its representative. That information does not show that the Kassel phone shop continued at that address or remains in operation; see the JiaYu Europe GmbH imprint.
