No reliable, attributable figure for Jennette McCurdy’s current net worth is established by the available sources. Online estimates should not be treated as verified financial disclosures: they do not, by themselves, show her assets, debts, income, or the calculation behind a total.

Is Jennette McCurdy’s net worth publicly known?

There is no substantiated current net-worth figure to report. A net-worth calculation requires a person’s assets minus liabilities, and no reliable financial statement or attributable disclosure establishing McCurdy’s total was identified. A number repeated by estimate websites is not equivalent to documented wealth unless it can be traced to credible records or a direct disclosure.

What her memoir’s sales do—and don’t—tell us

Simon & Schuster reports that I’m Glad My Mom Died has sold more than three million copies on its undated author page, accessed in 2026. The publisher also describes it as a number-one New York Times bestseller and reports more than eighty weeks on the list; the page does not say when that duration was last updated. These are publisher-reported book-performance figures, not figures for McCurdy’s personal income or net worth. Simon & Schuster’s author page.

Sales alone do not reveal the terms of a publishing contract, how much an author receives per copy, taxes, expenses, or other financial obligations. It would therefore be misleading to convert the reported sales into an estimate of McCurdy’s earnings. The publisher describes the memoir as recounting her experiences as a former child actor, including eating disorders, addiction, and her relationship with her mother. Simon & Schuster’s book page.

Her writing career and related projects

Simon & Schuster lists Half His Age as McCurdy’s debut novel and notes awards and bestseller milestones for her memoir. Those public career details provide context for her work, but do not establish her assets, liabilities, or personal earnings. Readers interested in the book itself can find I’m Glad My Mom Died and its listed trade paperback edition.

In a July 1, 2025 report, the Associated Press said Apple had announced a ten-episode series adaptation of the memoir, with McCurdy and Ari Katcher as co-showrunners and Jennifer Aniston attached to star. That report records the announcement at that time; it does not establish the project’s current production, casting, or release status, and it says nothing about McCurdy’s compensation. How to assess net-worth estimates

Before relying on a celebrity net-worth figure, look for a named source, publication date, and a transparent explanation of how the figure was calculated. Strong evidence would distinguish documented assets and liabilities from career revenue or speculation. Without that support, a precise-looking total should be understood as an unverified estimate—not a confirmed statement of wealth.
