Anthony Joshua beat Jake Paul by sixth-round knockout on December 19, 2025, so this matchup has no live betting odds. Before the fight, archived prices strongly favored Joshua. Here is what those dated odds showed—and how the result compared with the pre-fight market.
Who won Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua?
Joshua won by knockout in the sixth round at Miami’s Kaseya Center. The sanctioned heavyweight bout was scheduled for eight three-minute rounds with 10-ounce gloves and streamed globally on Netflix. Netflix’s post-fight account says Joshua floored Paul multiple times before the referee stopped the contest.

Joshua later said, “It wasn’t the best performance,” adding that he had expected to pin Paul down and hurt him and that “the right hand found its destination.” That is Joshua’s immediate reaction, not an independent assessment of the fight. Netflix also says the full fight is streamable on its service.
What were the pre-fight betting odds?
Oddschecker’s winner-market table, last updated at 11:15 on November 18, 2025, showed these examples from different bookmakers:
#1 Best Overall
- EFFECTIVE IMPACT DISPERSION – Are your training gloves affecting your accuracy? The RDX gloves dissipate the force of impact across the specially made, pre-curved anatomical structure of the sparring gloves due to the presence of Quadro Dome 3 padding, which uses EVA foam and SpongeX sheet. This results in a comfortable training experience for the users of the RDX heavy boxing gloves.
- PATENT PENDING LOMA TECH DESIGN – Do you face trouble forming the perfect fist, while using boxing gloves ? RDX gloves feature a PATENT PENDING single seamless LOMA Tech design used in the palm area and thumb of the boxing gloves. This helps create an improved alignment between the fist and thumb and along with an especially designed attached thumb allows the trainees to form the perfect fist and punch better with the training gloves.
- EXCEPTIONALLY DURABLE MATERIAL – No matter how hard you punch these gloves make sure to outlast your intense training. The use of advanced caliber Maya Hide ConvEX Skin Leather in the KARA Series training gloves makes them durable and reliable for long-term use while also providing a superior look and feel during Boxing, Muay Thai, MMA, Kickboxing, and heavy bag training sessions among other similar sports.
- FULL WRAPAROUND WRIST SUPPORT – A hassle-free design with sufficient support for your wrists. The hook and loop Fastener straps provide a secure fit and make it easy to put on or take off the kickboxing gloves for men and women along with providing better wrist support due to the full wraparound wrist strap, while the dual stitching in the heavy bag gloves makes them durable and resilient for extensive training sessions.
- SWEAT-FREE EXPERIENCE – Bid farewell to those sweaty palms and hands. With multiple ventilation holes strategically placed in the thumb sections of the lightweight boxing gloves, RDX ensures proper airflow management so that its customers get a sweat-free experience. Furthermore, the advanced perforated sheet for breathable ventilation in the palm area is sweat-wicking and minimizes sweat accumulation.

These were snapshots, not uniform market prices. Oddschecker also said Joshua was best priced at 1/10 in its market view. That fractional price converts to an implied probability of about 90.9% before bookmaker margin; it is not a margin-free estimate of Joshua’s true chance. The archived winner prices made Joshua the strong favorite and Paul the underdog. Oddschecker reported that, among bets placed on its own market from its opening on November 17, 2025, 54% backed Joshua and 39% backed Paul. That is a figure about the distribution of bets on Oddschecker’s market, not all sportsbooks, the share of money wagered, or a representative public poll.

Joshua’s sixth-round knockout matched the favored fighter winning by stoppage. But one completed fight cannot show whether a particular price offered value or whether a betting strategy is profitable over time. The odds are historical evidence of how selected bookmakers priced outcomes at specific times—not a guarantee of what would happen.
Why these odds are not available now
The fight is over, so archived prices should not be treated as current betting offers. Markets such as winner, draw-no-bet, total rounds, distance, method of victory, winning round, and groups of rounds describe different ways bookmakers may price an upcoming bout; BetMGM UK listed those categories for this event. Its event page also specified the eight-round, three-minute format and 10-ounce gloves. A market description does not mean those bets remain available after the event.

For a future fight, compare like with like: the market type, bookmaker, timestamp, jurisdiction, and settlement terms. A winner price and a round prop answer different questions, and bookmakers can quote different prices at the same time.
