Jaguar’s 19 November 2024 identity reveal introduced four coordinated brand elements—not just a replacement badge. The company framed the redesign as part of its move toward an all-electric modern-luxury future, while the “six-figure” description came from outside reporting about the strategy, not a confirmed price for Jaguar’s upcoming Type 01.
What are Jaguar’s new logos?
Jaguar described four elements in its reimagined identity. Each has a different role, and the Leaper—the familiar leaping-cat symbol—remains in the system as a maker’s mark.

Jaguar announced the system on 19 November 2024 as a “completely transformed brand identity.” Its official announcement introduced the elements, and the company’s Copy Nothing identity page explains their roles. The announcement connected the change to “Copy Nothing,” an ethos Jaguar attributes to founder Sir William Lyons.
Why did Jaguar change its logo?
Jaguar presented the redesign as part of a larger repositioning, not simply a refresh of one emblem. The company described its creative direction as “Exuberant Modernism” and said the identity was intended to express originality and a new Jaguar world. Those are Jaguar’s own brand claims; they do not establish whether consumers will embrace the design.

The timing also fits the company’s stated plan to become an all-electric modern-luxury brand. Jaguar’s 2024 announcement said the next stage of its transformation would be shown during Miami Art Week, including a Design Vision Concept. In December 2024, Jaguar Land Rover and Tata Motors introduced the Type 00 as a design-vision concept—not a production car—in a separate announcement.
What does “six-figure future” mean?
The phrase describes reported strategic positioning, not a published Jaguar price list. In a 25 November 2024 report, the Associated Press said the approach was thought to aim at selling fewer cars at a six-figure price point while appealing to a more diverse customer base. That is reporting about the strategy; it is not a confirmed MSRP for any particular model.

Jaguar’s current UK Copy Nothing page identifies Type 01 as a four-door GT “Coming Soon.” The reviewed Jaguar materials do not state a confirmed retail price or sale date for Type 01. The earlier Type 00 concept name should not be treated as the current name of a production vehicle.

Early online reaction included criticism, bewilderment and hostility, according to Associated Press coverage published on 20 November 2024. One report noted that the launch video showed models and no car; another described a range of responses alongside Jaguar’s stated rationale. These reports document visible reactions, but they do not measure what share of customers approved or disapproved.
